Hi! Sorry not to update. Hopefully everyone got thank yous from Emily--she posted a photo to the family WhatsApp of the last ones she sent out a few weeks ago. If she missed anyone, she would want to know so please message me. She was so very touched by this gesture and they still talk about it. Now to the babies update: Dean has been home for two weeks. Luiza came home last Sunday. They are on event watch for Sadie, which means that as soon as she passes the 5-day mark without any bradycardia (low heart rate) events, and continues to gain weight off the feeding tube, she can come home. That may be tomorrow or Tuesday! Everyone is doing really well. There were never any serious complications, just prematurity feed-and-grow issues that accompany pretty much all preemies. The other grandparents are in San Diego pitching in and helping out. They are retired and plan to be there through March, I believe. We should be going back somewhere in the late November/early December timeframe. Emily's twin is scheduled to fly to SD tomorrow and stay for two weeks to help, and there was a possible need for someone over the last weekend of October, so my husband and I have offered a plane ticket for either Em's twin or our oldest daughter to fly over for a long weekend, as we have a long weekend in Florida that weekend for a school reunion--though I am really waffling on that at this point... Thanks for asking about them! If you know Em's name and are on FB, you can check out some baby photos. There are some that have the little "global" designation so you should be able to see them. I'll check with her to see if she is okay with me posting some here; she may be, now that they are a little older and she feels better about sharing. One more thing: Emily received her official promotion to Lieutenant Commander a few weeks back, at the six weeks postpartum mark. That girl is something...

I was so surprised to receive a Thank You card. With so much going on in her life, that she would take time to handwrite a note is much appreciated. Her Momma raised her right Congrats on the promotion!

I'm so happy to hear that all is going well with the babies and their parents!~ I can't even imagine how hectic their lives are, even with extra helping hands!!
Please tell your DD that I received a lovely thank you in the mail... but it was totally unexpected. I can't believe she made time for writing!
May all continue to go well as your sweet triplets grow! Triple blessings!

Hi! Want to see Emily, her husband and the babies in a commercial? Sharp Mary Birch commercial. Emily is at around the 17 second mark and then the family kind of finishes out the commercial.
