I was scrapping tonight and decided to pull a roller date stamp. To my surprise my newest ones stop at 2023. As I thought about it, I can’t recall any being released recently in the papercraft world. I’ll be doing a search tomorrow.
Are roller date stamps a staple in your scrappy stash? Any suggestions for where to look, beyond general office supplies?
I have plenty of old photos so I will get use out of the earlier dates, but I would like a current one.

I just saw a roller date stamp in the warehouse sale section on Studio Calico's site. No idea the font/range etc but it looks like several of the ones I've collected over the years that still are relevant. Good luck!! eta: here ya go! www.studiocalico.com/shop/roller-date-stamp

Use them all the time. Either from Studio Calico, Ali Edwards and Heidi Swapp. All 3 have different fonts.

I use a roller date stamp all the time in my PL album. I had to buy a new one this year because my old one ended in 2023 too.

While roller stamps aren't currenly trending in scrapbooking, I still use them regularly for dates & words/phrases.

Everything old is new again - -use what makes you happy! I've been known to clip off the year portion of the roller

One of my favourite recent purchases was a roller stamp (brand new) I found at a flea market for 1985 to early 2000’s 🤭

Mine "expired" while I was having a scrapbooking break, but I did enjoy using it quite frequently before that.

The one I use most frequently isn’t a scrappy tool. I picked it up from Office Depot. I have a Heidi Swapp one too with a cursive font but it’s small and harder to read.

I have a 1canoe2 roller date stamp from Tuesday Morning that I use very frequently. I don’t know where it cuts off but it includes 2024 so that’s a problem for future me. I love the basic font but future me will probably have to get a new one soon-I’ve heard of people buying them from Amazon that are marketed for office use.

The last one that Paige Evans put out has years 2024 through 2034. I think 2034.

I was cleaning out my scrapbook room yesterday - and found a bunch of roller stamps. I haven't thought about them in years. I definitely am going to get them out and use them. I have a lot of ones with phrases, too.

I use mine to date all of my layouts. I almost got rid of my old HS one because it “expired”, but held onto it in case I want to scrap older photos. It’s great for adding a subtle date. I definitely have a few gap years, between the 2 stamps I have. From 2018-2020, something like that. And I prefer the office supply one over HS’s. Hers also has sentiments in hard to read fonts like, Epic! Best Day Ever! lol

I use mine all the time! I have date stamps and also the word/phrase roller stamps as well. A lot of the project life scrappers I watch on youtube use the roller stamps as well.

I have two roller stamps that include both letters and numbers on every “space,” so I can set it for any year or for short phrases. I haven’t used them in forever, and one has more spaces than the other, but I’m pretty sure one of them has enough space to print the longest possible date.

i think i might have one or two really old ones from an actual office. you know the wooden handled ones and the dates are pre-90s.

I love roller stamps for dating layouts and addingquick little phrases. It’s good to hear scrappers are still using them. I couldn’t find any with longevity and new phrases, so I think I am going with Heidi Swap and a generic one with symbols and numbers on every space so it never goes out of date.
Looking back, I wish the older ones had a blank built in for the last 2 “year” numbers so I could write the year in and not mess around with partial inking.
Thanks for the suggestions! 😊

I still use mine. I like the look of stamping it 3 times. I just had to purchase a new one as well. I got it from Amazon. The new one is good for 10 years, so I am set!

I still use a roller date stamp. Bought one at Staples for $4 that will take me through 2026.
