taylortroop , I'm one smut show away from Love Island. I watch The Bachelor, Married at First sight, Love is Blind. So, heaven knows why I don't watch Love Island. As much as I want to SMH everytime I watch one of those shows, I must admit that they're fun to watch. Are you going to watch the Bachelorette this season? I think it started yesterday. I deleted the recording as I didn't really care for Jen in Joey's season and don't think she'll be very watchable. More time for Big Brother when it starts. <snort> I am going to watch, because, well, dramatic smut. However, I wait until season's done and then binge it. Though I always let Reality Steve spoil it for me. Most of the time they break up, anyway. I need to watch Big Brother this summer. I really enjoy it, but don't watch it every summer.

I made some seasoned chicken tenders in the air fryer last night and they turned out fine. So tonight, I will make more. Also, will be making ground turkey to go along with white rice and veggies for dh.

Had the follow up appt from my failed procedure at the end of June. We have decided to remove my gallbladder, clean out the bile duct, and do a liver biopsy. Because of the bonus items, it will be laparascopic, not robotic. My Dr said that only 5% of people have the 💩 issues after and that it can be taken care of with medication for 6 months or less. I told him I can guarantee I will be one of those people based on how this year has gone.
Anyway, dh and ds had leftover grilled smoked sausage and I had a grilled ham and cheese. Tater Tots and creamed corn for sides.

I'm not gonna lie, I'm easily amused and enjoying every minute of watching this garden grow. I'm fully willing to experience the joy of that and I will only curse a little when I'm on my 42nd loaf of zucchini bread.  My garden has definitely protested the Texas heat. I've had 3 zucchini but no squash. My rosemary and thyme are growing well I have one summer squash plant and have had 3 squash from it. There are currently 3 more, but some little bastard has taken a bite out of one of them. 😡

I think Love Island is probably pretty high in the smut scale. Some of the girls might as well be naked for the amount of clothes they wear. And the thong bathing suits- that just can’t be comfortable!
Thanks for the heads up about The Bachelorette. I missed it but I stream so I’ll catch up tonight. What night is it on?

jeremysgirl I'm glad you're starting to feel better. I'm excited for you and your weekend away at the beach. It's going to be amazing, I'm sure! karenlou every time you mention your eye injections, my feet go all tingly and I do a little shudder! Not sure why my feet tingle, but anyway... I am jealous of all of you who are having to put on the cooling. I'd prefer that to having to put on the heating! Speaking of heating..... in order to reduce our gas and electricity bills, which are exorbitantly high, I don't have the heating or cooling on during the day. Instead, in winter I just rug up with extra layers of clothing, and a heat pack if necessary. DSO has the heating set to come on in the morning when he gets up, and it automatically turns off at 8:30am. Then he turns it on when he gets home, and it goes off automatically at 11pm. But as soon as he goes to bed, which is usually between 8:30pm and 9:30pm, I turn it off then just rug up again. Anyway, last week he moved the portable electric heater into my home office, and he has been turning it on at 6:30am, so when I go into my office at 9:30am, it is toasty warm. It's very thoughtful of him. But.... it defeats the purpose of me trying to save on gas bills, if he's turning an an electric heater for three hours. I want to tell him please don't worry about turning the heater on, but I don't want him to think I am not grateful for his thoughtfulness. (And honestly, sometimes it's really nice to walk into a warm room!) So this morning I walk into my home office, and the heater was NOT turned on. My stupid brain said "Oh good, he didn't turn it on today." Then a split second later my brain said "Oh, what have I done to upset him, that he didn't turn it on today?!"

taylortroop, I believe that the Bachelor is on ABC at 8pm on Mondays here. AussieMeg, those little things that they do for us are special. littlemama, That just sucks. I'm really sorry to hear that you have to go through surgery. Gall bladder surgery was one of the easiest surgeries I've endured. Granted I didn't have the other procedures w/it. I was sore for about 2-days, but the meds kept me comfy. May the biopsy go well and may you not have the complications you anticipate. You suffer from health stuff, too. I'll be here w/you.

Oh yeah, dinner..... I had a ridiculously busy day at work on Tuesday. My boss is away, so I had to attend meetings for her. And I am having to do a lot of work for our New Zealand team, because they have no-one trained yet to do it themselves. I also had to run a training session with the NZ team. So for five hours straight, from the time I logged on at 9:30am until 2:30pm, I was on Teams calls/meetings non-stop. Then I had to actually do some work. I didn't log off until 8:30pm! DD came over for dinner, which she had to cook herself. I was missing a few ingredients, which I had planned to go and buy at lunchtime, but didn't get a lunch break. And then when she started cooking at 6pm, we realised that the recipe was actually a slow cooked recipe that needed three hours! Anyway, she made do with what we had, and cooked a very nice chicken satay dish for us all, bless her. I ate in my office, and didn't even get a chance to catch up with her before she headed home. I decided that this morning I was not going to log on a minute earlier than 9:30am. When I checked my work mobile phone, I saw a couple of missed calls and emails from one of our big customers, from 6:50am onwards. Oooops! So then I had to send a grumpy email to the logistics team and my customer service team (who were all copied in on the emails from the customer) saying that in the future, if they see an urgent email before I log in at 9:30am, they need to &%$#ing action it!! Well, I didn't actually type &%$#ing in my email, but I think they could sense my annoyance and read between the lines.
