I'm not on FB, but my husband and kids are as amazed as I am at the generosity of the peas. Three peas sent me an item from my wishlist this year. It was like Christmas! I can't wait till August when I am allowed in my classroom again to put the new items away so they're ready for use when the students return. I tell my students about crafting grown-ups that send items to me for them to use. Last year a few peas donated some decodable books and my kids were so excited to use "real books with color" instead of printed out paper books for some lessons. |

My daughter just told me she got some markers and birthday crowns for her kindergartners from the peas. You are all so generous and she is so grateful!
She just got her class list and it looks like at least 3/4 of them are refugees so she doesn’t expect most of them to bring in items from the school supply list. She is so excited to meet them though!

Compeateropeator the 2 books that you sent me arrived today! Thanks so much for thinking of my students! My kids love reading the bug series of books and are thrilled when they're actually able to read them because they're decodable.

RAK: I looked at the teacher wish lists several days ago. Several of you had "sensory strips" on your wish lists. I have a pack sitting here. I bought them for my autistic son hoping he'd like them. They're not really his thing. They have a "LEGO" look to them. So primary colors and non-gender specific. I'm willing to ship them to a couple of you. Say, 40 pieces each? I'll pay for shipping if you're willing to share your mailing address with me. I don't want to go through all the lists again and try to tag who still needed these so I'm just going to let you respond. Please peamail me and I'll take the first two who respond. I'd like for them to be used and help kids rather than trashing them.

My daughter received a couple more books and some bandaids. Thank you peas! Her first day is today with (currently) 21 five year olds. She expects a couple more when people realize school is starting  |

I went into school yesterday for the first time and there was a pack of blue cardstock and some Amazon brand post-it style chart paper waiting for me. Thank you to whomever picked those up for me. There wasn’t a note in it. Thanks for making my first time back in this school year start with a smile! I can’t wait to start making some anchor charts!

My school has had a remodel going on this summer, so I’m just now going to work in the library. I used the school address for my Amazon list, so I was excited to get some packages this week! peasquared Thank you so much for the interlocking building toys! I am adding some center activities this year and I know these will be popular! revirdsuba99 Thank you for the colored pencils and chalk markers. I am starting a kindness club this year and we will be making a lot of signs, cards, and notes. These will be perfect! ddly I love the Kindness Snippets Jar book! It will be fun to use with my kindness club! leeny The Nantucket Sea Monster book is fantastic! I had no idea until I read it, that it relates to another book I have about the original creator of the Macy’s Parade! This will let me introduce hoaxes with a familiar background story. I don’t know if this list is for nieces or not but I figure it’s worth a try. My niece went through a divorce and worked full time, coached and worked her butt off taking classes. She graduated in June and just got her first classroom at age 45. I’m so proud of her! She will be teaching sixth grade science. She looked at some of the other teacher’s rooms and said she didn’t realize middle school still decorates and that her room just looks boring. roxley I just wanted to say I was looking at my Amazon orders today (I really should do that more often when I know I have sent things hahaha) and see that I think I messed up and sent two of the same books with the bandaids. I don’t know what I did, but I have a couple of orders where I double order from someone or duplicated…I wasn’t on my teacher wish list game this year. 😂. Feel free to have your daughter gift/pass on the duplicate book if I did so.
