This is my theory of the motive. Per CNN's interviews with people who knew Crooks, one young woman he went to high school with, said he hung out with a conservative group of students who wore Trump hats. Others gave the typical profile of a loner who was bullied.
My theory is that he was still hanging out with the MAGA group or he wanted to be included and they rebuffed him. Maybe they had a falling out. Crooks decided to take out this group's hero as a way of getting back at them.
This is just my theory. I haven't read this anywhere.
(If he weren't a 20 year old with no apparent motive, I would really think this was a setup. The timing right before the convention and the way it has all worked out for Trump so far is just too perfect.)

Entirely...whatever your or anyone else's opinion. You are absolutely correct. Having said that it still is my opinion she was rude because she made this political. When it was a compassionate person calling to offer his condolences who happened to be the President and a Democrat. Democrat being the key word here. |

Merge I think Congress has called the head of the secret service. I think she is supposed to appear Monday, but I could easily be wrong on the timing.. The info coming out seems to be getting worse daily..

I'm not going to judge someone for how she handled the sudden death of a young spouse, especially one who used his body to shield his family. Everyone grieves in their own way. I'm not in her shoes and don't know what I do except I would probably barely be functioning. Again, not my place to judge her decisions. In my opinion, she was respectful of both parties.
I wouldn't under any circumstances take a phone call from Trump. I might talk to George senior or George W depending on the situation.

When investigators reviewed the laptop, they found a few searches in July of: Trump, Biden, when is DNC convention, and July 13 Trump rally Investigators have found no evidence of a particular ideology, which the FBI believes is notable, and nobody in interviews reported Crooks discussing politics. Suspect has two cell phones, primary phone was recovered from the scene along with a remote transmitter (detonator).
