a quick way to clear this up would be the medical report that Trump refuses to release When the claim was made that it was the glass from the teleprompter that got Trump, it was cleared up when the teleprompter was all in one piece, unharmed. When that wasn't good enough, it was cleared up again when the FBI said "“What struck former President Trump in the ear was a bullet, whether whole or fragmented into smaller pieces, fired from the deceased subject’s rifle." It's already been "cleared up". It's time to let go of your conspiracy theories. I thought Republicans were the conspiracy theorists.🤔 |

No scabbing, no redness, no swelling. He got a little scratch and there’s no way it was from an AR-15 bullet. I know the FBI made some BS statement, but I think it’s untrue. Yes, I think they’re lying. No bullet ever contacted that ear in any way. The article I read said that they consider shrapnel being shot. The man was insanely lucky because it looks like nothing happened. Obviously there was some sort of wound because of the photos afterwards, but ears bleed a lot and since it healed so clearly it certainly wasn't a big wound. Doesn't negate the fact that he had an assassination attempt. It does make his carrying on about it pretty offensive though considering he barely mentions the other people wounded and killed during the attack. It still was what amounts to a scratch. A few years ago, I cut off the tip of my middle finger while chopping celery. I picked it up off my cutting board when I got home from urgent care. Two weeks afterward, it certainly didn’t look at healed as trump’s ear, and we’re just talking soft tissue, not cartilage like the ear. He didn’t lose a chunk of his ear like was claimed. I still don’t believe he got hit by anything except other debris. If a medical report from a treating doctor is released, I’ll believe that. That certainly isn’t Ronny Jackson/Johnson. |

Whatever had contact with his ear, it was clearly very minor as there is no longer any visible scratch or blemish (much less any sign of "the top of his ear being taken off" as someone claimed).
Regardless, Trump joins the long list of Americans who have been shot at by a disaffected white kid with an AR-15. In his own words, we're simply to get over it and move on. No big deal at all in the world the Trump Party and NRA have created. I'm sure he'd say the same to the family of the man who was killed.
