I like Quinn, but I wish he hadn’t told Mama his secret. She doesn’t seem like someone who can keep her mouth shut. I like that she didn’t nominate the two downgraded players, using the excuse that they had come in last, or something.

Agree with the stach. Maybe that is was is making my radar go off.
I am actually enjoying the twists because it creates a new game. For several years game talk never happened and everyone had their agenda. Outsiders never weaseled in to stay safe. Or made promises of safety.
I do think Mama's reasons for nominees was stupid. Well except for Lisa. I would have done Lisa, cop dude and his buddy from Boston too (Matt?). Especially with how he talked to her. He's running for her for sure.
The other two I think could be easy to work with and keep around

I love the new eviction night twist. Usually the game ends on Mondays after the veto ceremony and the nominees are final. Now there's still some gaming to be had and it will keep everyone on their toes. I especially liked that Cedric & Chelsea (and future mascots) will be able to compete in the AI comp as a way to save themselves. It's unlike BB to be so fair. ha!

I feel like I missed something.. I don’t recall seeing nominations. I watched last night’s episode (Sun; Jul 21st) and it ended with 3 people left to compete for HOH, so HOH isn’t known yet, let alone nominations (at least on the broadcast shows). Did a miss an episode? Last night was a 90 minute episode, it sounds like you missed the last 30 minutes. I had to adjust my DVR to record the extra half hour. I put the results in a spoiler in case you want to watch the show to find out. Angela won the HOH and she (tearfully) nominated Lisa, Kimo and Kenney. Her reasoning was that she didn't have any game talk with them. |

Bad scheduling - we missed the last 30 minutes apparently...SO ANNOYING!!!! I had to go to paramount plus tonight and FF to see if we missed anything which we did!!
Agree on Angela - she is too much. I'm sure she is anxious but she is fake trying to be in synch with the younger crowd. Its a little much.

Ok, finally caught up! ;-) We FFWD through most of the introductions. I just didn't care. LOL I like the game upgrades and downgrades. They are good twists.
It seems like they need a gimmick every year ... AI is fine I guess. They could have just made a computer filter for a real person. It would have been better than the smurf robot thing.
It's way better than the universe dumbness of last year. Remeber that really dumb haunted house thing they did? There are a few people that irritate me so far. One was the guy that went up to talk to the Mama HOH lady and was almost threatening her. That was kinda pushy and cocky.
Happy that the season has started. I hate that is starts SO late in the summer now!

The only issue I have with AI is the voice is hard to understand sometimes. They need to close caption what it says like they do when the housemates are whispering.

I like the early twists. Shakes things up a bit and the players don’t necessarily know what’s coming next. I’m enjoying it so far.

Personally, I don't really call those reality shows. One was a talk show and the other two were game shows, but I deduce from this and her personality that she has probably tried to be on various reality shows. I read there was another house guest (Brooklyn) that was on Dr. Phil in 2019.

BB is going to 8pm on Wednesdays and Thursdays - I think starting tomorrow. So 9pm tonight? But President Biden is speaking which may effect the show.

Comcast is usually very good at recording the entire episode but for some reason they missed the boat on this one. I think because at 10pm the next show title came on so maybe the network didn't alert companies it would be 90 min? Previous years it has always shown the correct time. Not sure if that affects recording or not on the DVR. We have it but don't use it. |
