I think that they should boot her and scrap plans for an eviction this week. Not okay and if you were watching the houseguests during her tirade, they were either crying, traumatized or both.

I definitely think that Matt is a self absorbed and possibly unlikable person, he still didn't deserve that EVEN if he was campaigning to try and get her out. She is CRAZY.
On the other hand, it makes compelling TV that people are talking about lol

Yes I too read were Matt was getting a good edit. I also read that he hasn't been treating Angela well and he had said some pretty mean things to her including threatening her.
I read about the blow up between them a couple of days ago and the article said that people watching the live feed were glad she let him have it because he has been pretty relentless in belittling her.

On the other hand, it makes compelling TV that people are talking about lol I agree. Her sitting in her room watching the camera while everyone else was downstairs chatting was weird. She was freaking out about Matt going for her and trying to steal her people. It looked like just a bunch of people sitting around the table chatting. And her over reaction to him not hugging her? And then freaking out about the Collective? She is paranoid. Anyone that seriously wants to work with her after that is crazy. I can’t imagine what Matt could have done that warranted that reaction from her. She really comes across as unstable. She should get out of her room and interact with people instead of spying on everyone while in the HOH room. I want to watch the live feeds of the tirade to try to see the real reactions from the other hg.
I hope she goes next. I like a little drama, but that was nuts. |

I don't watch the live feeds I just read articles probably shouldn't do that. So I knew about the fight already and what they were saying about it.
I really hope they show what else I read that transpired between Matt and Angela after the blowup tonight.

What’s the backstory with Matt and his mother? He alluded to it on the show. She’s Filipino and apparently they are very close and she is a big supporter for him. She used to work in the news industry so I wonder if Julie may know her somehow. |

Thought that I liked him but he was kind of rude to Matt (who I am not really crazy about) when he wouldn't back him up on Angela's bad behavior. Not a fan. |

I am glad the special power was not used to save Matt. And glad that Kimo won in the Arena. Matt definitely would have been tough to beat later. And I want to see what Kenny can do.
Angela’s behaviour was bizarre. She came in over the top excited, trying way too hard to fit in. I understood that in the beginning she was honestly just Mom teasing, and so nervous she just took it too far. And I picked up Matt’s cockiness in telling her she couldn’t touch him in the game. Aggravating, sure, but no more than has been intimated in the past on the show. Why did she think that every last person should comfort HER after the noms? And she definitely had trust issues. If she doesn’t get booted out next, I hope the rest of the players isolate her. She obviously can’t be counted on.

I don't watch the live feeds, so when people say Matt was getting a "generous edit," what does that mean? I took offense to the fact that he was accused of "threatening" her when it seemed like all he did was game play. I mean, doesn't everyone say what he says, meaning, "If you put me up this week, I will have to put you up next week." How does that constitute a threat? Unless he said something else I never saw. But clearly the editors didn't think it needed to be seen.
We were impressed by his very mature and self-reflective comments at the end of the show. He said several times that if there was something that he did wrong that and that he needs to learn from it, then he will reflect on that. Not many people have that kind of reaction. (Angela sure won't.)
By the way, I saw on Tik Tok today that Angela was also on The Price is Right and won $20,000. So she must think CBS loves her. Personally I haven't had this much distaste for a House Guest in a long time -- if ever!

jimmysgirl - "Generous Edit" means the CBS program is only showing the good side of a houseguest, not the whole true story of what happened in the house. The most egregious example of this is Cameron from last season - he was vile in the house but his edit got him America's Favorite Player. I don't know how they decide on who they want to protect or why but it's really frustrating. What Matt said was a threat and he meant it, a lot of houseguests have done/would do the same thing. Most of them probably wouldn't say it to the HOH. Before the veto comp. From the feeds, not on the show:
When the feeds came up on Thursday night/Friday morning, Matt was working at putting together an alliance of sorts and their first goal was to get Angela out of the house. Not on the show.
Then he said what he said. Paranoia, being in the house and lack of sleep got to Angela & she flipped out (and went way overboard with the personal attacks). Matt brought up his mother, not Angela and then again she went overboard with that too.
She apologized to the houseguests, Makensy and Matt. Matt didn't accept the first apology and she apologized again. Then he wanted her to apologize publicly during the veto meeting and told her what he wanted her to say. She apologized at the veto meeting and he got mad bc she didn't say exactly what he told her to say. None of this was on the show.
He makes that grand forgiveness gesture during the show.
He didn't get voted out because Angela wanted him out. He got voted out because he was a bad player, the houseguests wanted him out of the house and had their chance. Tucker, Joseph and I am not sure who else said as much in their good bye messages on the CBS BB Instagram.
She won the 20K on Let's Make A Deal. She lost on the Price is Right. She was also on Dr. Phil's House Calls. There was an issue between her husband and daughter. Brooklyn was on an episode of Dr. Phil also but I can't remember why. She is nutso. I never buy that "I'm the cool mom" act. If you were cool, you wouldn't have to say it.

I find it hard to believe that they have so few applicants they have to recruit from the CBS files. It is possible that she binged a few seasons and then applied. I can't believe she is a true super fan but she may go down as the most hated this season - time will tell!! |
