Just curious...Do y'all use the no rush shipping feature to get $ in digital rewards?
I typically choose the No Rush Shipping so I can use the $$ for ebooks, unless I need something right away.

Yes almost always! I like it for buying ebooks and movies/tv shows. I have a prime credit card and they will offer extra cash back if I select no rush shipping so I’ll do that as well if it is offered. It’s only a percentage so it’s not a life changing amount of money but I won’t turn it down.

Oprah! Depends. Sometimes the no rush shipping is almost a week wait. My no rush day is Wednesday and if I order on Thursday, I have to wait a week. Also depends on how badly I want the item. And, if I have multiple items, sometimes they still ship on different days. BTW - I use an Amazon card, so instead of digital credits, I earn a 6% rebate instead of 5%. But it is not on all items which is another reason I don’t always pick no rush shipping.

If I don't need the item right away, I always choose the no rush shipping option. I like to save up for a new kindle book with that extra money.

No because the few rare times I am buying something on Amazon is because I need it same day, next day, or in 2 days.

While “yes, unless I need it right away” works, I picked Oprah. The reason I typically pick the no rush shipping is because I have bad timing and always seem to order so it arrives on a weekend. Most/Many weekends I am away at least one day, with the no rush shipping it usually gives me a couple of days so that it arrives when I am home and I can avoid having packages sit outside for extended periods of time.

no, i need faster delivery more than i need that $1 incentive for slower shipping. to us, it doesn't make sense to pay for prime just to get slower shipping.

No such thing here. I'm happy if I can get my stuff in 3 days vs a week or more.

I wasn’t offered that on my large order today but was on my smaller one and it was credit to my new prime visa so I did it. I wasn’t in a hurry.

It depends. The past couple of years my Prime shipping has been so slow that usually the no rush shipping that offers a credit and the Prime shipping show the same arrival date. So when that is the case I'll take the no rush shipping and credit. On the odd occurrence that the Prime shipping option is faster I stick to that.

Never. I don’t use any Amazon digital items so I don’t care about the rewards. I just want my stuff.

They stopped offering me the digital rewards and now only offer the 6 percent which I get 5 percent anyway with my card so it’s not that great only one percent extra. I miss the digital rewards. That I would do.

I always choose no-rush shipping if I’m not in a hurry. Sometimes they give me a digital reward even if it didn’t say so when I was choosing the shipping. I like getting my cheap-ass little Kindle reads for next to nothing.

I have never seen no-rush shipping as an option. Maybe it's a US amazon only thing - I use Amazon Germany

I've just purchased two small items, these were my delivery options
1) pay £1.99 and have them by 22.00 tonight 2) arrive tomorrow (prime member) 3) arrive Wednesday of next week with the tag line, fewer boxes, fewer trips
Appears in the UK, we have a environmental incentive but since the Amazon van passes through the village every single day the few trips angle doesn't really work. The fewer boxes only works if both items come from the same warehouse so the incentive for me doesn't make sense.

I almost always use it and that's how I fill up my kindle library. Sometimes I have been known to plan a purchase that I don't need immediately to get the credit offer. It's definitely a Prime "perk" that's a benefit for me.

If I dont need it right away and they are offering rewards, I will use it. If there are no rewards, then they can get it to me faster lol.

I’ve opted for it occasionally but the credits don’t really motivate me to use it. I don’t use an e-reader and we very rarely pay to watch something on Amazon.

Yes almost always! I like it for buying ebooks and movies/tv shows. Same here, I almost always choose that. I am not generally in a hurry to receive my products, so it’s fine with me to wait a couple of more days and get discounts on video rentals & books

I just earned $12 in digital credit yesterday. I had to break up my order tho, which was no big deal I am shopping for my son's dorm. I don't need those things ASAP, so I did no rush shipping. But it seemed that they were going to break my order and give me $3 twice, until it I read the fine print and it said you could only earn ONE credit per order. So I broke it up into 2 smaller orders and got $6, vs just getting $3 for the whole thing. Maybe I read it wrong, but I highly doubt it, they are greedy assholes. Then as the day went on, I would order stuff and I just picked no rush shipping. If they dont offer the digital credit, then forget it, they can come ASAP and give me my stuff.

We ended up ordering a few things last night. The items weren’t going to come until next week Monday or Tuesday anyways, so I picked the “No Rush” option for Wednesday. I noticed the rebate bonus went up from 6% to 7%! Does anyone else who gets the rebate know if that is just for Prime day or is that the new bonus amount? 7% might make me change my answer to the poll. 😂

I usually choose no rush shipping unless I need the item quickly. I like to use the money for books for my Kindle. I’m in a book club and it’s often hard to find the books we are reading from there on Libby or in the local library, so it’s nice to have that money when I need to buy a book.

I choose it most of the time, though I haven't been offered digital credits in at least 6 months.

I would try to do that to get the digital credit and then my daughters would do stupid things like watch a Nicholas Sparks movie that they had already seen several times. Then they’d say they didn’t know they were using the credit.

Then they’d say they didn’t know they were using the credit. That's what happens to me with the gift cards. I'm thinking "Ooh, I have $30, I can spend it on something kind of fun!" Then I discover that the gift card was automatically used on my subscribe-and-save order of toilet paper or something.

I usually request my stuff at the earliest but this time they were offering me 7% cash back on my card so I will be getting my stuff the 25th.My order was over $100 so it was worth it. I guess they expect to be doing a lot of deliveries.

I didn't even know that was an option. I don't think I've ever seen an incentive.
