At the moment, yes, but I do not keep a constant membership, as I do not buy much from Amazon.
I will pay for a month or two during the holidays or if there's a particular show I want to watch, and then I cancel again.
I only have it now because we had several special occasions in a row this year, and I was finding multiple things I needed on Amazon, but not always enough at a time for free shipping.

I have been in the past but now I just get my son to order and have shipped to me if I need fast or not enough for free shipping or during Prime Days. Then I reimburse him.

I am not. I prefer shopping in a store.
I signed up for Amazon a few months ago, mostly for the kindle ebooks. I only purchase, if the ebook isn't available for free at the Library. I have purchased a few things from amazon, that were a good deal or not available in an actual store. I made sure I spent the minimum required, to receive free shipping.

I am not. 99% of what I order there has an option for free shipping if I am willing to wait 2-3 days for the product. I always wait so get free shipping.

Yes, I have been for a long time. My account only goes back to 2016, but I know I used to order on my computer. I’m guessing I switched from my desktop to an iPad in 2016. So a new email and account. I don’t watch much on Prime. But I definitely order a lot from Amazon. It’s just too easy. Add to cart. Place order. 😊

I am. I use more of the benefits than just the free shipping and it is truly a part of my whole lifestyle now. I am sure there are alternatives, but I would miss it.

I can’t think of a better gathering of people to ask this question of, I hope someone here knows and shares! Thank you in advance!
We have been very long time, prime members, and have definitely found value in the use of their streaming service. We have noticed that either they have started having commercials, or they used to be so in frequent that we didn’t notice, or the frequency has increased and it’s driving my partner insane. Is there like an up charge I can pay to make these commercials go away? Anybody have any ideas?

Yes. I pay for a year up front to save money. We hardly use it for Prime shipping but rather for TV. I like that I can access various other streaming services under Prime - PBS kids, PBS, Discovery +, and Paramount+.

We have been for a year at a time. Now we just sign up for a month when we want to watch something which is rare. I've never thought Amazon had much on streaming. It's not that hard to get a $35 order if we need something.

I used to be. I found that Prime was taking 5-10 days to get stuff to me so I dropped it. Now, over a year later, I get stuff next day from my dad and sister who have prime.

The annoying part about the commercials to me is that the timing of them doesnt make sense.

We have been prime members continuously for years - I guess I could go back and look but maybe 2011? With three kids and two dogs plus dh and me it seemed like someone always needed something and instead of driving to store (which was not close by - looking at about 40 minute + round trip) and probably more then one store if the first store didn’t have the right thing- it is -100% worth the price to me. I like being able to realize I need something, just go to Amazon and compare options and that day or up to 2 days later it’s here and I didn’t have to drive anywhere. Love it. Even now with the girls gone dh and I order often. I just made four orders since yesterday.

I was going to cancel just to shut him up- but he likes a lot of Amazon Prime content.

Yes! I absolutely hate shopping in a brick and mortar store, and if I need something now I don't want to wait until I can get the minimum required for free shipping. Like for example, I'm having a house full of guests arriving on Sunday. This morning I noticed that the bathtub hair catcher doodad is icky and needs to be replaced. Went to Amazon, found one for $8.00, it will be here tomorrow. I don't need anything else at the moment so I'd either have to pay shipping, or wait to get the minimum order, or drive to Home Depot to find something similar. Waiting is not an option because two of the people coming to visit have long hair. Paying for shipping seems silly for an $8.00 item. Driving to Home Depot sounds awful, plus they might not have the type I want. Amazon to the rescue and I can order the exact same one that I bought the last time, which I know fits our drain.

I am not but DS is and when I see something I want I send him a link and he buys it for me and sends it to my house. We use his Prime login to watch shows. I've talked to DH about perhaps becoming a prime member because of my Kindle but I can usually find the books that I want through our library so haven't bitten the bullet yet.

Yes. I don't buy a lot from Amazon, originally bought Prime for the movies. I evaluate it near renewal time as to whether I want to renew or not.

I have been for years. I admit to liking the convenience. I also order things for my brother, ship them to him and he reimburses me. I have gifts shipped directly to the recipient, which saves me bucks on postage.
I have found myself ordering more everyday household items because it’s so much easier and faster than driving around to various stores, parking, and searching - only to find out they are out of the unscented antiperspirant I prefer, or don’t even have a space for it anymore. Much easier to order a pack of four or five than to keep looking for it in other stores, and then I’m set for a long time. I also love that I can see if I've ordered this exact item before, and when.

We use it for a lot of things. There are some items we can’t find locally and it saves us time and shipping. Depending on the item we will look at local stores vs Amazon. Sometimes they are cheaper sometimes not.
We also use their streaming. I also took advantage of prime days to add a couple of cheap subs for 2 months. Acorn, PBS and Hallmark. Regular Prime has gotten better in the past few years as well.
I also use for photo storage the first read book each month but I haven’t been reading them so wouldn’t miss that. I sometimes use their free music to.
If we didn’t use it I would cancel but I just don’t see a reason since we do use it.
