I was watching something with Milo Ventimiglia and noticed he talks out of the side of his mouth. It made me think of another actor who does that, but I can't think of who. It is someone I found charming and cute. It is driving me slightly crazy. I googled "actors who talk out of the side of their mouth" but no one really pulled up besides him and Richard Kind. I do have quirky taste in men, but not that quirky. I can't think of what he was in or anything, I just remember finding it so charming on him for some reason. Does anyone know of any actors that speak out of side of their mouth?

What about Gerard Butler? He has a kind of lopsided mouth/smile

This is one of those times when someone asks a question and my brain's immediate response is "Oh, yeah, I definitely know this!", and then nada, zip, nothing. Sorry! I'll keep thinking about it, though!

Harrison Ford? I recently rewatched Airforce One and his face came to mind when I read your question. The left side of his mouth doesn't move as much so it looks like he talks out of the right side of his mouth. Like Elvis!

The first one I thought of is Dermot Mulroney. Love him! First time I ever saw him was when I was very young and he was in a movie called Forbidden Sin with Megan Follows, the original actress of Anne of Green Gables.
The other two that came to mind were Joaquin Phoenix (another favorite!) and Will Arnett.

I literally have never noticed anyone talking out of one side of their mouth! Now I'm googling them all to see this!

I went to the videotape because I'm now obsessed with this:
Richard Kind? No - he uses both sides Drew Barrymore - YES! I'd never noticed it and now I will never NOT notice it! Buddy Hackett - Yes Billy Idol - just doesn't open his mouth all the way Gerard Butler - definitely (and I just watched an interview with Conan O'Brien and Butler's accent is the cutest thing ever.) Harrison Ford - yes - again, I'll never not notice it now.
Still looking but I wonder if it's the actor who just played Elvis, Austin Butler. He does a bit (now that I know what we're talking about.)

Rob Lowe has a side quirk going on too I do love Rob Lowe, and he totally does it too, but I think the guy has really dark hair. I hate that I can't see things in my head, now that I know others can I bet it would make.aolvong this easier. I have a vague idea that he was in a romantic scene, very dark hair and with an accent.

At first I thought it was him, but after watching some scenes of his movies on YouTube that I have actually scene before it is not him. It is very pronounced, like Buddy Hackett, but certainly not him.

I looked at his IMDB, I have not seen one thing he has been on, so it can't be him. For sure what I am remembering was a movie or TV show.

The only thing I can think of that I have seen him in was Parenthood, but it certainly wasn't that. He was just a kid in that movie, and his role broke my heart.

Justin Chambers? Italian, dark hair, in the Wedding Planner with JLo and Matthew McConaughey? Almost got married to JLo's character. I am picturing him speaking out of the side of his mouth. ETA: Had to go and watch some of the videos he's in. He does speak that way some of time, but not all of the time. So not him.

Drew Barrymore is/was the worst! She worked to get rid of it when she was in Grey Gardens so it's much, much better now, but there have been times it was hard for me to watch her because it was so distracting. I've never noticed Gerard Butler or Harrison Ford - I hope I forget about this post so I won't see it! LOL

So funny that you posted this. I’ve been on the couch for the last week trying to recover from my first bout with Covid and I watched a fair number of Hallmark Christmas movies this weekend. I was so distracted by the actor, Tyler Hynes, talking out of the side of his mouth that I lost track of the plot of the movie.

I can’t think of any male actors that do this but Katie Holmes does. She even smiles crookedly.

I will check some out. I am thinking it may have been Karl Urban, but the few clips I watched of him he didn't do it, but maybe it was just a certain show he did it in. It is certainly someone who has that look.

Leonardo DiCaprio has a fairly distinct side talking thing going on. It’s become more pronounced as he’s aged.

Maybe it's someone, who like Milo, often hides it. So when someone suggests someone and you look them up you might not see it unless you found the exact movie you were looking for.
