I've had too many colds in the two to three years. Yes, some of it was COVID (once for sure, maybe another) but at least 3-4 on top of that. I feel like I'm coming down with one now and I JUST had one not even two weeks ago. I'm so over it.
What can I do? I know the eat healthier, sleep more etc. I need to work on the eating healthier for sure. And sadly we lost one of our dogs a week ago. But as she was old and getting me up very early/often for bladder issues, I was short on sleep. Obviously I'll be getting more now. Any probiotic or supplement recommendations?

Ask your primary to do labs for your Ig's. IgA, IgE, IgG, IgM, etc.
If any are low, supplements and vitamins won't help.

Yes speak to your doctor.
Also ask about immunizations ...
Oregon has a measles out break and also over 350 people with Whooping cough.. it will not get better with all the antivaxxers all over.

I have not had a cold in as long as I can remember. I have had covid one time and believe I was exposed at my eye doctor's office when I had to have cataract surgery as I had not been out of my house in a few weeks recovering from the first eye surgery and not wanting to get sick for the 2nd.
I swear by zinc. I buy it at Walmart in the Vitamin and Mineral supplement section. The vituams are normaly on the shelf alphabetized, so it will be towards the end. It is zinc 50mg. I use to take it everyday for years, but now about 3 times a week.
My son got custody of his son at age 3 and I started him on vitamins plus zinc. He is now 25. Other than 3 bouts of strep when he started Kindergarten, I can only remember him having a cold one time and the flu one time. I contriubte that as well to zinc.

I don't know how much this will help, but oregano is an antimicrobial, I season every thing I make with oregano. My kids also swear by vit c, vit d, and zinc at the onset of a cold. That it cuts it down, the time you're sick. I don't get sick with colds often, but my kids swear by that.

Talk to your doctor.
One thing I do when I feel a cold coming on is to take Zinc (cold-eze). My symptoms usually goes away in a day without turning into a full blown cold.

I haven’t been sick in 2 years. I think this is related to having become a compulsive hand washer. Anytime I come home from being out anywhere, the first thing I do is wash my hands.

I don't believe that Zinc, and other supplements boost your immune system unless you are deficient in those supplements. I know lots of people swear by them but there is little to no scientific evidence to support these claims.
Basic common sense, like hand washing, eating well - fruits vegetables protein, sleep, and exercise (just a walk) can help.
Some people are more susceptible to viruses and infections than others. Good luck!
