Thank you! I plan to offer my craft supplies to hold small gatherings at the clubhouse to share in some holiday card-making fun once I have everything unpacked and set up. A neighbor suggested I teach classes after she saw some of the cards I had made. I can’t imagine anyone needing a class from me to make a card, but I could show people a few tricks and show them how to use my tools. I will provide the materials and show them how to make matching envelopes if they want them. I don’t mind sharing my stamps, adhesives, papers, stickers, glitters, embossing powders, and tools, but I am not excited about lending out my Copic pens or my expensive colored pencils until I get to know people. I have way too much paper, both patterned and solid cardstock weight so I have plenty to share.
I could use these colored pencils along with a few watercolor sets to get people started and maybe suggest they bring their own higher quality sets if they want to use something that I am not putting out for free. And depending on how it goes and how many women show up, I might bring my Copics and Prismacolor pencils later on. I am hesitant to do so at the start because I had a bad experience when I used to bring materials to the office to make cards during our lunch breaks. No one intended to leave paint lids off overnight or some of the other things that were damaged by just not thinking about it. For the most part, we had a blast and made some great cards to send to one coworker’s brother in the military to distribute to the guys in his unit who didn’t get anything from family. The feedback from the guys receiving what we made was really touching. And even the company owners wanted to join us. Seeing all these men taking their suit jackets off and creating holiday cards with us was so much fun.

Thanks! Great deal. I bought a couple sets I may save until the holiday toy drives. I couldn’t buy more than one set. Not even with a price difference. How did you do that? I would like about ten sets to share with the clubhouse crafters.

Thanks! I ordered a set. I keep a few adult coloring books in my gift stash. These will work great with one of those.
