Hi, thanks to the gals last year who recommended the Nicapa cutting mat for my Cameo. I liked using it much more than the Silhouette Cameo cutting mat.
Like last year, since my daughter is an Amazon Prime member, I asked her to order the standard grip Nicapa cutting mat again on 7/16/24 during Amazon's Prime Day(s)..$8.79 for 3 cutting mats.
It was delivered a few days later. Shockingly, instead of the set being placed in a box, it was delivered in a flimsy plastic bag.
As I thought, the mats were not flat. I noticed some ripple in the Nicapa mat set and some bend lines. There was a yellow caution square printed on the clear Nicapa plastic packaging "sleeve". Do not bend or fold.
I suspect it was not carefully picked or packed at Amazon's warehouse OR the delivery driver had other items placed on top of the mats.
I wasn't ready to use a new cutting mat but thought it would be better to try one out just in case there were cutting issues.
I placed 65 lb. cardstock on top of the areas which had the "bend" lines and purposely had the Cameo cut in that questionable "zone".
It was a relief the cutting was fine. But in the future, I don't know if I want to buy cutting mats from Amazon.com if they don't protect products that shouldn't be "bent". I'm sure Amazon.com wants to reduce their box usages, but they need to package their products in a more protected manner.
Have you experienced the same packaging issues? Have you complained to Amazon.com? Did Amazon.com respond to your concerns?
Thanks in advance for sharing your experiences.

I've been using these cutting mats for a few years now at least with no issues until recently. Two mats were not sticky. I opened one and tried to use it and it was barely sticky. I opened a second and it also was not sticky. The third one was.

I just bought some paper organizers on prime day. They are thin 13x13 pockets. A package of 82. They were placed in a box about 2 inches too short and because of the amount of pockets, the bottom 1/3 was ok, the middle 1/3 is questionable and the last 1/3 definitely has a slight crease in it.
Will they all still work? Yes, but I am *that* person that likes my things not have flaws if I can avoid it. I have not decided what to do. I feel like they are just going to tell me to return them and then I don't get the prime day price if I re-buy them. That is what happened to me when I did not receive an item I purchased and they just refunded me the money instead of resending.

Amazon also makes it as hard as possible to talk to a live person. I would definitely lodge a complaint, though, if your oroduct arrived damaged.
I missed seeing the Prime Day special on the mats.
