Share a picture, if possible but if not, describe your favourite recent creation - layout, card, papercrafting project, other craft project. What have you made recently that you're really proud of or pleased with how it turned out? What do you love about it?
You get to define how recent is recent...
I'll be back after lunch to share mine

I really love these Christmas cards - the colors, the navy background, the illustration style, and the bold sentiments. They were very simple to make but really satisfying. http://instagram.com/p/C9qIN5TSLSz

The most recent creation that I'm pleased with is unfinished, but I'm still very pleased. I'm making the base of a junk journal that I can use as a December Daily album later on. I did this one other year, and I loved it. Having the base pre-made and a bag/box/bin of little decorative bits & bobs basically creates a situation for me, in which I can accomplish something every day, and it doesn't feel like one more task on my to-do list. Because the main work of the album is done, it just feels like a little reward of play for me at the end of each day. And I found it really fun, and a way to both wind down and to better appreciate all that we did day by day the year that I did it. So I am really pleased to look forward to doing that again, and am super happy to have the bare bones work of the album done, so that it's ready for the fun part.

I recently made a two page layout of DD trying on wedding dresses. I was inspired by the Steel Magnolias quote, "My colahs are blush and bashful, Mama" so there's a lot of soft pinks. I really love it and I think it turned out so pretty.

That does sound fun and I love the idea of being able to accomplish something fun each day I haven't shared anything here in forever, but here's one I made recently I really like. beautiful! I love how crisp it feels with all the white space yet you included all those lovely fall colours! I've missed seeing your layouts! wow! those colours are gorgeous and that background is amazing! I never did get back here after lunch to share mine so here's one now. I always love red/white/blue colour schemes and I had fun diecutting for this one

I sat down and made 10 sympathy cards. I always seem to need one when I don't have one and they are not fun to make in that circumstance. So I premade 10 that I hope I don't really need, if that makes any sense.

joblackford those cards are lovely, I really like the bold sentiment paired with those fun images. melanell it sounds like you've really set yourself up for success with your junk journal. KikiPea gorgeous colours and your layering is amazing. Elsabelle your layout sounds lovely and I love that Steel Magnolias inspired you! Linda thank you for your kind words. I love your die cut border, the two shades of blue are especially pretty and I love the texture on the flowers.

I exclusively scrapbook & must be satisfied with each step in the process before proceeding, so I'm always content with finished layouts & love that each documents another story about our (now college-aged) son.
