In the spirit of everyone creating a thread to keep the board moving, I’ve tested positive for covid today and am therefore staying out of the way in bed (first time I’ve tested positive, not saying I haven’t had it before but anyhoo)… To keep myself from incessant over the top online shopping as I convalesce, I am in need of some YouTube vids to watch for project inspiration. I noticed Morgan Beale uploaded a travel album recently (first YouTube in three years or so!) and I’m looking for more of this to pass the time: m.youtube.com/watch?v=i9qJwvpckmoWho else should I be watching? I’m not on facebook or Insta, and I’m up to date on lasteve1 and kasha gage 😁

No inspo to share, but a wish to feel better soon! My husband also just got covid for the first time! I've had it 3 times now, and I can say for certain that online shopping definitely helps!!!

I hope you feel better. I got Covid the first time from an outdoor wedding and was totally shocked. (thought we were ok going to a wedding if it was completly outdoors) Anyway, I just love watching Amy. R's cardmaking videos. She is just the best and so down to earth and informative as well as wildy creative. I also really enjoyed Victoria Marie's Citrus Twist process videos/album shares if you like the travelers notebook size. www.youtube.com/@prairiepaperandink/videoswww.youtube.com/watch?v=l8TfD3Ti-cE

If it helps I shared a new video this morning Unfortunately, these days, I don't watch a ton of scrapbook inspiration on youtube. I tend to watch a lot of journal videos there + watch scrapbooking videos in Ali Edwards classrooms. I'm really enjoying the Stash class. On youtube www.youtube.com/@sabrinapoole is very active and shares lots of scrapbook projects. www.youtube.com/@chappyplans shares project life also. Heba also shares a lot of projects www.youtube.com/@mylittlejournal.

Well, if you want long videos to help pass the time, Vicki Boutin and Tim Holtz regularly put out 2 or 3 hour long lives. Otherwise, for layout processes etc, I like to watch Shimelle and I also like watching Nathalie DeSousa. Not sure if any of them are your style, but that's what I have to suggest.
Hope you feel better soon!

Thanks lasteve1 I always get the same feeling when I like a post where someone is sick or struggling, so i understand it’s a “thinking of you” not a “loving that you are sick” 🤗 I love hebas designs, style and products and would buy so many of her stamps etc if the shipping wasn’t crazy for me. I’m hoping one day sc does a collaboration or takes on distribution of her products so I can get some. Thanks for the suggestions ladies, I’m also up to date on my Sabrina Poole viewing (she makes me want to stamp and do a book journal sooo badly, I can’t tell you the number of books I’ve bought thanks to her reviews!) so I may just check some of the others out. I do usually have shimelle on babylou when I clean though so I don’t know if I can just watch a video, it’s a weird muscle memory thing… like there’s a certain linkin park song that makes me want to start cycling thanks to the hundreds of spin classes I used to go to 😂

So sorry covid finally got you lg. I've been lucky so far and haven't had it (as far as I know). Hope yours is a mild case and you recover quickly. On YouTube I always watch Shimelle's videos (She still has the old Glitter Girl ones available) and I sometimes watch Jayma Malme (sp?), Becki Adams, Christine Hardin, & Kelsey Cherry. Heal up fast!

For layout videos, I like Not Just For Boys Kit Club. Even if you don't have the kit, I like how she talks through her design choices. For cards, Prairie Paper and Ink.I also like to watch Meghan Andrew.
Hope you feel better soon!

Nicole Jones 9-1-1 she posts loooong videos that should pass a lot of time! Right now she is organizing, but her layout videos are interesting, she has a different style than I do. She talks while she scraps, not always a voice over, and has some interesting stories.
I used to watch Sarah Swann until she quit her channel (I still watch her book channel) and plan to go back and watch her scrapbook videos someday when I need ideas.

I love finding new people to watch. One of my favorites is Dorothy. She does a lot of outdoor inspired pages as well as her cat. I love her die choices and they are double pages usually. www.youtube.com/@scrapbookingquebec

Sorry you got Covid. :/ Rest for sure. Another shameless plug? I've just put up a new 6x6 paper pad to cards video (60 cards from 48 page pad), and it's #7 in the series. Then I've been playing with my stencils lately and have 5 videos on that playlist. Plus I was trying to do daily card background shorts...I'm a bit behind, but still have over 30 up so far. www.youtube.com/vexedangelHope you feel better soon.

Thank you all my peas 🤗 I can’t wait to watch all of your channels! lifeinlayouts I’m a doodlebug and Disney fanatic… how did you know 😁 vexedangel I’m always interested in cards to get inspired - card sizing is similar to tn sizing so it’s fun to translate those ideas onto my layouts. Time for a nap and then off to watch some YouTube 😉

vexedangel two that come to mind with loads of videos for a tn size are heba from my little journal and dearly dee (dearly dee even has vids on how to create your own tns 😁) Both have classes as far as I’m aware that involve sketches etc if that’s your thing, I’m more of a watch the video and scraplift in my own way kinda gal myself. I also know that Elizabeth crafts has their own (extensive) range of tn sized page dies with heaps of interactive pockets etc and they do a lot of grungier layouts - think more Tim holtz style. I looovvvveee their dies, just make sure you’re buying the correct size ones so the holes match your albums (planner not art journal… you can use the art journal ones but you may have to cover the holes and repunch to the correct places). My favourite albums for tn sized projects inside and outside of the page protector are citrus twist tn sized albums, and I love using their pocket page protectors as well in all the configurations as I like mixing inside and outside of the page protectors for my projects 😁
