This is for you, artbabe! I really appreciate you keeping the board going. I usually scrapbook in the afternoon. Mornings I putter around the house or run errands. I try to block out the afternoons for me. I also will scrapbook in the evenings, if I'm home. I get really cranky if I don't have at least a little time in my craft area every day.

Mid afternoon for me too! I try to get work done in the mornings, exercise, errands etc. That way I don't feel guilty about sitting to craft. Plus the light in my room is best in the afternoon.

Thanks for keeping the board moving along mikklynn. I'm retired so I guess if I had to choose a time it would be mid to late afternoon. Although I admit I haven't been doing much scrapping this summer.

I tend to only scrap on days off (but I'm a teacher, too, so yay!) but it is usually in the afternoon. I spend my morning drinking coffee and butting around and then about 1:00 I decide to scrap. I usually do 2-3 pages at a time, so I usually scrap until 3 or so. Occasionally I break that routine but the 1:00-3:00 is usually my scrapping hours.

Afternoon or evening. I am a night owl, so I can be up for hours if I don't have to work the next day.

I used to scrap exclusively at night when my kids were little and going to bed by 8. Now that they are older and stay up as late as me, I try to scrap during the day! I work from home and have a project-based job so if I'm waiting on next steps, I will scrap while I wait. If I have a free weekend afternoon and the kids are with their dad, I might scrap then, too.

I work a 4 day on/4 day off rotation... so on my 3rd day off.. I scrap all day... If I dont have any other things going on... I get up throughout the day and do other stuff... but my main playing with paper day is my 3rd day off...
Currently I am working on generic cards for my bff to have on hand in her class room... for whatever random occasion pops up.... lol

I would love to be able to craft right now, which for me is 7:45 pm, but I don't have good lighting in the corner where my temporary craft space is, and the way the evening light hits our house, despite being surrounded by windows in my corner, my actual desktop is quite shadowed at this time.
Lighting is best around 10am-2pm, but that is rarely a time that works for me. I've got issues, LOL!

Early evening to late evening-middle-ish of the night. 7:00pm until 2:00am.

I prefer afternoons to early evening, especially in winter when it's cold and/or wet outside and I don't feel guilty about hibernating in my room.

Probably morning before I get going with chores around the house. Of course right now any "spare" time would be great. I did wander into my craft room Saturday night, but the cluttered table seemed way too much like work so I bailed.

I like to scrap in the evening. It is a way for me to wind down.

I prefer evenings to late night, but will scrap whenever the opportunity presents itself.

Mid-morning.
Kids are not here using my computer (which has my die cut machine attached to it) except during summer vacation (now... not getting much done either), chores are choring, DH is working on the other side of the house, don't have to go anywhere until 2:15...

Whenever I can find the time. My absolute favourite is when I can take a day off work and go to my LSS to scrap. I find it's very productive and super relaxing.
If I'm scrapping at home, I most likely grab an hour or two in the evening after work. The light isn't great, but I find I can relax a bit more once I have all my chores done and then any crafty time is guilt free.

I used to scrap in the evening after work but before dinner. If I was really into it, I’d scrap after dinner too. Now… what is free time?? Lol

Definitely in the evenings to late night. I just can't relax until everything is done and tidied. Although I can't say I've done much of anything since last spring. We moved last summer and then I broke my wrist the next day. I wasn't able to hold a pencil for more than a few minutes until about March and then I was deep into painting the interior of the new house as my occupational therapy. Then I was busy getting the yard ready for summer, then I've been sick the last month. Any free time has been spent doing respite care for my dad or FIL or visiting my MIL who is in nursing care. I really need a weekend for just me!

Usually after work and dinner, starting at about 7 and going no later than 9-9:30.
But these days I'm getting a burst of energy right after work, so I'm doing stuff then and then having dinner a bit later.
I wish I was a morning person who could get up and scrap before work, but I'm just not. I remember MercyTiara saying once that she got up at 5 am to scrap before going to work. There's just no way.

I'm a morning girl. The sun shines into my scrap area that time of the day and I've found the later in the day I scrap the more little mistakes I make.

This question made me think! Honestly, it's whenever I can find time, but super early in the morning or super late at night would probably be my favorite time of day.
