..if magically you were to qualify for an Olympic sport, what would be the sport?
For me, either archery or rifle shooting. I took archery 2 semesters in college and was fairly good at it and enjoyed the sport.
Rifle shooting--I have been pretty good at shooting a gun, so.... (I learned that men get pissed if you shoot better than they do.)

Dressage. I’ve been riding it for 30 years and have barely scratched the surface.
In my dreams I run track, particularly the hurdles.

Tennis. It was the sport I was proficient in before back problems.

The only “sport” I ever did was ballet, so figure skating, diving, or gymnastics.

I would have to wait until the Winter Olympics to show off my luge and skeleton skills. World class! 😏

Swimming! I competed when I was in middle school and high school. I'm definitely NOT an athlete by any means but I did enjoy it then.

Is running downstairs in the middle of the night because you can hear the cat coughing up a furball a sport?

giant slalom skiing. I was never going to be a racer as a teen.. too much money, too much commitment.. but my dad did teach us some basic race techniques.
when I had three toddlers at home, my dh paid for a "women's weekend" skiing with olympian racers. (women who had won medals!!) there were about 30 women.. master racers, instructors, ski patrollers. and the final day we did a simple race course. when I went, I had not skied in 5 yrs, as we had been overseas and I had been having kids. I borrowed a pair of skis from the demo guy.. and I beat everyone but the olympians.. they were all kind of astonished..
the first day was a fierce storm.. and I was falling all over the moguls piled with fresh wet snow. sang ski songs to keep up my spirits.
I still ski fast... in a more controlled way.

Swimming
I was a competitive swimmer my whole life and made it to Nationals my Junior year of highschool. I really wanted to go to the trails but I was also lazy and didn't want to work any harder than I already did.

Dressage. The magic would be that I've never ridden dressage in my life, and although at one time I used to be a decent rider it was eons ago.

I’m an adrenaline junkie and got a chance to try it last year—awesome!! My daughter is actually on the U.S. Junior National Luge Team so it has been so cool to learn about the sport and we spend a LOT of time at the luge hill these days!

Mine would be Winter Olympics and it’d be ice dancing. Which is pretty comical, considering I have Ménière’s disease and have to use a walker because my balance is so bad. Lol

Gymnastics. I’d love to feel my body fly thru the air like that. I work so hard to keep my disease riddled body as flexible as possible so just the thought of my body bending like that is a dream.
Then volleyball. I loved, loved playing thru my school years

Summer - Gymnastics. Did the sport as a kid. Winter - Downhill Skiing. Fast and out of control … yes! 😂

Rifle shooting--I have been pretty good at shooting a gun, so.... (I learned that men get pissed if you shoot better than they do.) Women are naturally better at shooting rifles, especially in the standing position. We can use our elbow on our hips to help support our stance which makes us better in the harder of the 3 positions. I would choose rifle shooting as well. I know from experience that boys don't like having their asses handed to them by a girl. >.<

Mountain biking.
I always thought it would be cool to be on a synchronized swim team, but since I don't like my face to be underwater, I don't hold out hopes of success.
