Anyone else having issues lately?
First it was my scissors (multiple pairs) were missing, so I ordered a 3-pack of cheap scissors, and now all my other pairs have returned so I have about seven pairs on my desk (I hid one for future emergency scissor needs.)
One of my kids is doing some art project, and my paper cutter keeps disappearing into the void, I mean her room, I'm thinking it's a sign I need a 2nd paper cutter...
And I have been trying to cut a title all morning but it won't cut without mangling itself, so I changed fonts. Then I got the second word to cut perfectly but not the first. Apparently my page is supposed to be titled 'garden' and not 'community garden.' Then on my 5th, 6th? try, the paper came off the mat and I'm wondering if it's a sign I should use letter stickers instead...
How about you?

I was up until the wee hours of the morning trying to figure out how to bind a mini album I’ve been working on. I gutted a book, decorated the cover and created the base pages with matted photos and journaling with no issues. I wanted to adhere the pages back to back and attach to the inside spine, but nothing was working. I had glue, red line tape, atm tape runner, score tape then tried tying the pages in like signatures. None of that worked, I ended up using old school binder rings which made the pages stick out past the cover. I may try to find binder mechanisms and use that but I was so frustrated after all the effort.

Spent the morning unsuccessfully searching for a set of photos I had in my hands a week ago.

I know I've mentioned this endlessly, but most of my craft supplies have been packed up, and while sometimes I view that as simply a way to force myself to use the little bit I do have out, sometimes I just really wish I could easily get my hands on something that's still packed.

My issue is my We R Memory Keepers circle cutter. I love the ends result....but cutting out circle frames is not easy. The YouTube videos make it look so easy, just push the tiny knob-blade smoothly around the circle. It's not smooth and easy....it's awkward and doesn't flow smoothly....it's start and stop. I have figured out that thin paper cuts better.
It's a love - hate relationship with that damn thing. Love the results. Hate the making it process.

My scrapbook supplies were taking over my living room, so I had my nephew take them down to the basement, where I do have a table set up for scrapping. But I haven't gone down there yet. When my stuff was upstairs I scrapped all of the time, but when I say my supplies were taking over the room, I mean they took up 75% of the room. I feel better about my living space but I really need to get scrapping again.

I spent some time and money aquiring back up supplies (see back up supplies/hoarding thread) and now I have a good amount of back up supplies, but I don't know where to keep them.
Bigger issue is no matter how a re arrange my office (work from home office is also craft space) I am not satisfied with the results. I feel like I want a minimalist space with good flow and instead I look like I am working in a garage sale thrift store crap everywhere no space to move situation.

This was me yesterday. Nothing was easy, everything was a chore, and something went wrong at every step. Sometimes, especially on the projects where I make a ton of cards, I run into problem after problem. Honestly, I think for me it's when I rush, I just create a cascade of issues. It's like I have to hit the wall full speed and deal with all the fallout then I can relax and things start going better, or it forces me to pause and take a break.

Working on my July sketch challenge. Cannot find the photos I want to use. Find other photos. Try the paper I wanted to use. Paper does not work with the new photos. Look for other paper. Find other paper. Cannot find embellishments. Decide to reprint the photos I want to use and go back to square one. Plus my room is so hot that I can't even think straight.
The heat has definitely zapped all of my creative energy.

kmage I took over the dining room as storage so I could have a clearer scrap area in our study… and my desk still looks like a hoarder den scrapbook garage sale preschool mash up 😂 What’s even funnier is that my house everywhere else is soooo minimalist that all my maximalist tendencies for scrapbooking really shine 😇

I feel all of this! I just bought a 3 pack of scissors from Costco, because my grandson keeps taking the ones from the kitchen drawer.
I also ordered another trimmer, because I arrived at my weekly craft group without my trimmer. Now, it's 2 minutes from home, but it annoys the heck out of me to carry it back & forth.

If I ever needed the hidden scissors, I would likely forget where I put them. My thing lately is that I drop everything in the "worst way". For example, I won't just drop an inked stamp on the table, it would land on my picture. I'll pick up something and there's something else that goes fluttering to the floor. Things like that and it applies to my non-scrappy life. I can't count how many times and ways I can miss a garbage pail, even from 3 inches above.

Just recently both my guillotine paper cutter and Big Shot have not been performing well. I've cut several sheets of foil to try and sharpen the blade but still getting ragged cuts. I had to keep adding up to four sheets of cardstock as shims and rotating the die to get a clean cut. Any suggestions appreciated for either fixing these issues, or for new tools
