My dh's friend just brought us over 26 fresh filets of Copper River red salmon!!! So, dinner tonight is going to be fresh salmon!! Luckily our bil (who is retired) offered to get them freezer ready for us. Of course, we will share! That one of the things that I love about being Alaskan. Sending up the bat signal to lucyg. I hope you are feeling okay...we miss you! What lovely friends you have. ❤️ |

The Birdhouse Lady how nice! I’m sure it will be delicious. Had appointments for a facial with brow & eyelash tints then a mani/pedi. I have a love hate with pedicures. I love the result no matter where I go it hurts. I use a scr as per thing every day in the shower so I can avoid the grater. But they still squeeze my legs during the massage. Picked the wrong color for fingernails so I’ll probably add color on top. Cleaning up my office and Poppy’s dog crate. Dinner is random refrigerator stuff. Let us know how Twisters is cadoodlebug

scrapmaven and ntsf I have always had the hardest time with the solutions for colonoscopies until Suprep was prescribed (I also get anti nausea meds). I have had over 10 exams due to family history and polyps. I stopped counting. I recommend asking for this one. I'm happy to cover my cost if the insurance won't approve but my doctor got it approved last time. And drinking the amount of water they recommend is also very key. Also drinking cold and with a straw. Suck on a lemon in between if necessary. jeremysgirl that looks delicious!

I have only used suprep.. the two tiny bottles. I got the anti nausea meds this time... as I drink it, I want to gag and throw up.
I sip, then drink martinelli's apple juice.. and can get it down.
it is just not a fun day. the day and a half before I eat lemon jello.

Marina and ntsf this is WTMI, so I'm gonna put it in a spoiler. I can't drink the liquid and I need two gallons of Golytely to properly prep. So, I do my prep in the hospital for 2 days via nasal gastric tube. It's torture and awful. Last time the wonderful night nurse gave me a push of dilauded to manage the discomfort. I can't tolerate tubes down my throat and it's torture for me.

scrapmaven that sounds horrible. I'm so sorry. ntsf if you have a pho place nearby get some of their broth. It's clear and delicious. That's my "main course" and jello for dessert.
