I'm outsider left according to the quiz. This is what I came up with as well, though I am not sure that is right. I think I am more center in my thinking.

I also got Establishment Liberal.
But I hate these things, as I don't think my answer choice adequately encapsulates my opinion. Like the corporate profits question. The majority of corporations I think make an appropriate amount of profit, and maybe even too little, which is why we've seen so much consolidation within industries and monopolistic power. But the minority make an egregiously large amount of profit that harms people, including other corporations.
In these surveys I often feel that my economic answers reads, as more conservative or more liberal than I am, but I've decided conservatives suck at economics. You want to make more money? Find that new idea you can monetize? You need to look under stones and in dark places. Which means listening to people who currently not being listened to which leads to DEI, and early adoption of things like climate change. You keep chasing the same old ideas, you'll be forever splitting a pie with countless others who demonstrate rigid thinking.

I didn't like question 14 at all. The one about how much time people spend in prison. They didn't specify WHY those people were in prison.
People in prison for having drugs on their possession is very different, to me, than people in jail for violent crimes.

The last quiz I did like this said something like left leaning Democrat, or something. This time I got "outsider left". Outsider Left are the youngest typology group. They hold liberal views on most issues, particularly on issues of racial equality and immigration, and overwhelmingly vote Democratic. They are more skeptical of government performance than other Democratic-oriented groups, though far less so than those in GOP-oriented groups. While they aren’t particularly happy with the Democratic Party, they also have deeply negative views of the GOP. Though nearly half of Outsider Left describe their own political views as liberal, only about three-in-ten identify as Democrats; about half say they are independents who lean toward the Democratic Party. As a "recovering" republican, this is me too. I consider myself more moderate. In my opinion, this is supportive of that.

I agree with all of the comments about several questions needing to be more specific or requiring more answer choices.
For instance, I didn't like question 14 at all. The one about how much time people spend in prison. They didn't specify WHY those people were in prison. People in prison for illegally having drugs or alcohol on their possession, for example, is very different, to me, than people in jail for violent crimes.
Nevertheless, I answered as best as I could, and my results came through as Establishment Liberal.

Establishment liberal which is more liberal than I would have expected. I would have thought I was more of a Democratic Mainstay.
One thing I wish this had was a way to weight questions that were more important to you than others. I have a lot stronger opinions about mixing church and state than I do about hearing people speak another language - as an example. And I really don't know whether people are spending the right amount of time in prison for their crimes or not.

People in prison for having drugs on their possession is very different, to me, than people in jail for violent crimes. Yes, that was one I hesitated on. There were a couple of others. But yeah, rapists, serial killers, child predators etc. LONG sentences and I feel rapists especially often get off too easily. But there are lots of other crimes that do not need more than a few years or so. Or young people who are disadvantaged and got caught up in something. Rehabilitate and release, not lock up for decades.

I got "Stressed Sideliner". The questions were too black and white for me, no shades of grey.
"Stressed Sideliners are split evenly between the Republican Party and Democratic Party, while one-in-ten don’t lean toward either party." Before Trump came onto the political scene, I did vote for the person and not the party. Now, I cannot vote for anyone with a R after their name.
"They lean liberal on economic issues and tilt conservative on some social issues." This is NOT me at all. I am not conservative on social issues.

And I definitely wound up choosing an answer that wasn't true for me on that question because of it.

There are nuances to some of the answers I would give that arent covered by the options provided. Things arent always as black and white as those questions make them seem. Im any event, I am firmly blue, which I already knew.

The quiz gave me "stressed sideliner". I got a kick out of it. 😅 Must be smack dab in the middle. I know which way I lean but quizzes usually have me pretty well rounded.

Stressed Sideliner - I feel I am a moderate in the middle, so yep. The questions though. I do not want our manufacturing jobs to leave our country, but I also need our grain and livestock to be marketed world wide. This question, along with most of them, had me looking at both sides. Which, I think if everyone would try to look at both sides things would be going a lot better in this country! I didn't like question 14 at all. The one about how much time people spend in prison. They didn't specify WHY those people were in prison. People in prison for having drugs on their possession is very different, to me, than people in jail for violent crimes. Exactly!

I think the questions are poorly drawn and the methodology is flawed. I got stressed sideliner last time, Now I’m Democratic Mainstay. My views haven’t changed that much. I’m hard line pro choice, anti guns. I’m fiscally conservative with a poor opinion of the Republican Party and consider myself more toward the center.

The questions in the survey were too black and white to answer. I guess I’m a moderate. Fiscally, I would like to see the waste stopped and the money put to helping those really need it. Veterans, healthcare, schools all need the red tape and passing the buck to stop and get better services.
Socially, I’m a total liberal. Separation between church and state is a big one. Believe anything you want. But don’t expect national laws to cater to your beliefs.

No surprise here: progressive left. Though I thought I might fall in a slightly more moderate category. I’d love to see a much more thorough poll though.

I came out progressive left. I think that might be overstating the case slightly, but I definitely knew I was left. Same here. Progressive Left, and I think I’m probably more Establishment Liberals.
