Each of us has a hobby that we enjoy and it's different strokes for different folks. I know many people who cannot stand doing puzzles. My new favorite puzzle company is Eeboo. They have really colorful puzzles and they're pretty. EEBOO

My hobbies tend to ebb and flow. As long as you have something that soothes you, I'm 110% in favor. With that said, puzzles make me want to pull my hair out. LOL! I am not able to enjoy them at all. Weirdo that I am... I'm the same way about puzzles. I don't find them relaxing at all and they stress me out. My sister usually has one up around the holidays for people to work on and I'll just sit and watch. I'm sure I'm partially ADD because I have a hard time concentrating on them. This is probably my problem too.

I love the pumpkins bc2ca and I love Halloween souch they would be jack-o'-lanterns in my front yard...in July.😂 Sadly, pumpkins don't last here with nowhere cool to store them. I stopped carving them after the second or third year because they'd be a rotten mess before Halloween.

Good morning!! **GypsyGirl** thank you for the update of your dh. I am so glad that your daughter is there to help you out. jeremysgirl zucchini bread sounds REALLY good!! bc2ca I LOVE your pumpkins!!! I love that the backdrop is your pool!!! I tried to grow them here for a couple of years but it just doesn't get hot enough. My hobby interests change. For a while I was really into reading and now, I haven't read a book for a couple of months. I love to do all kinds of things but, I can't do them all at the same time. The summer months I like to do outdoor stuff, in the winter I read and sew, and sometimes puzzle. I prefer a 500 piece puzzle, anything over that drives me nuts!! I am watching my little grandson this afternoon and I am soooo excited!! My dil has to take her diabetic dog to the vet. Dinner is uncertain at this time. I might be alone tonight, if that is the case I will have leftovers!

I’ll help with a puzzle but it’s too much sitting for me. My sister did a bunch this summer and framed them for writing prompts in her classroom. My other sister loves puzzles too. Went to the studio and finished my mini painting for a show piece. It’s meant to be the test piece but it turned out better than planned so maybe the actual piece. 👏🏻 Then I had a cut & color appointment before I leave. Sitting on the deck waiting for a storm. The wind feels so nice. Dinner will probably be some type of burrito-any available vegetable in the fridge. scrappert dh always wants to do the taping & mudding but he is not patient or meticulous so I refuse to allow it. I think he’s secretly relieved. I let him do some at the lake and it’s all cracked. It looks terrible.

The book sale was awesome. I got 3 bags and my mom got 1 bag. Total of 74 books for $20. Now where do I put them? My shelves are already full. Hmm...
The book sale started at 1 pm. We were waiting in line for the doors to open. There were tons of books but also lots of people. We pulled out of the parking lot at 2:08 pm and there were barely any books left on the tables. Glad I’m retired and could go early. If people are waiting until after work, there won’t be anything left.
I need to pick up grandboys #1 and 2 from daycare in a few minutes. Both parents are working late.
Supper will be grilled steak, grilled potatoes and salad.

teddyw - this is our 3rd room gutting and replacing all walls and ceilings. In the first room, SO took so long on the taping and mudding and sanding. Like weeks! He is VERY meticulous. The second room he did much better. I am hoping this won't take him that long at all. And besides, we are then adding knockdown over it, so you can't see any imperfections anyway.

bc2ca and other puzzle people I really like Puzzlewarehouse.com. They have sales often and shipping is free if you spend $75 or more. teddyw, would you be willing to post your art on the thread? I would love to see it.

Hey all. Fighting with AT&T this morning. Finally resolved issue through FB messenger. I keep forgetting that I need to stop trying to call and fight through the automated disaster of corporate phone systems that keep trying to guess what you want and cutting you off without an agent. Over an hour of multiple calls and hang ups and screaming at the phone before I just went to FB. Resolved in 2 minutes! No clue about dinner, but that's my psa of the day. Happy hump day!

I put mapleline (maple flavoring).. in my peanut butter cookies....
we are having left overs from kabobs last night. and some fruit for dinner. I saw a nutritionist at the diabetes education center at the hospital this morning.. basically, I'm doing fine and keep it up and came away with a few suggestions to add in. (more beans!!)
then got the chip in my windshield fixed, picked up some prescriptions (two times today) and mailed dh's off to dh. will work on the mess upstairs in a bit.
