I have been sick for over two weeks, during my vacation time, no less. I have cycled through all manner of symptoms, raw mouth, incontinence for one day, digestive issues, runny nose, and now I have a cough. It’s been hot for here, it’s smoky due to the forest fires, and today it’s humid, 100%, which is crazy for here. We had to cancel our trip to go see my 93 year old Dad, who I haven’t seen for several years.
I’ll be fine but I go back to work on Monday. I just want to feel better. Whine, whine.

You are 100% validated. I'm sick too and working from my bed today. I'm irrationally pissed about it and I've only been sick for a couple of days. Did you take a covid test? Sending good vibes for your recovery!!

Sorry you have been so ill. Hope you get better and stay well. Will you job allow you to change vacation days to sick days or personal time off? That would be a bummer to loose all those days due to illness. {{{Hugs}}}

Oh my gosh, how awful. Who could blame you for wanting to vent about all of that. I'm sorry you feel so lousy and that you had to cancel your visit because of it.

I’m sorry you feel crappy! Consider yourself validated. My kid caught something the first week of June that gave her an intermittent high fever for several days followed by a cough that lasted for over three weeks. I took her into Urgent Care early on and she was negative for flu, strep and Covid and the doctor said there are a lot of random viruses going around. About two weeks after she had been through the worst of it, I had similar symptoms. That cough dragged on for weeks.

So today, the smoke is rolling in, but I will not complain, our town is not on fire. It is also much cooler, thank goodness.
