What a great find!
I wonder if they continued to be friends, maybe sent each other little paper projects.

This is interesting because I am watching 1947's Forever Amber, set in the 1600s, and in the beginning they show her looking at a fashion print that's she's clipped and I thought, hmmm, did they even have anything like that then?

This is a library lady thread to start, sorry to steal her style, but I thought it was cute

Very interesting. The stars they show are flat, however I learned to make German Christmas stars.. we did not call them German when I was a kid just after WWII.. ours were/are also folded paper paper but the center points stick up and are on both sides.

I volunteer at our local hospice thrift store to help them price antique and vintage items. Occasionally I get an old scrapbook and I can't begin to describe how engrossed I get in perusing it. The longevity of some of them makes me begin to regret a bit that I no longer paper scrapbook.

(I do travel journals with sketches and memorabilia included if anyone remembers a recent thread. But I no longer do the traditional paper scrapbooking.)
