I love the texture of the paper…the weight of the paper…BUT..I often feel that the design is ‘fuzzy’. Not as crisp as I like it. I’ve passed on CB paper many times for that reason. Anyone else feel the same?

I hadn't bought CB in a long time but recently received the Halloween Fun line by Steve D. I just pulled it out to look at it again and the lines look crisp to me. No fuzziness either. The bats have nice crisp straight lines and up close and pulled back the little girl witch looks great.
But we all see things differently.

I swear I saw someone else saying this recently as well. The only recent Carta Bella I have is just a few single sheets, and the patterns aren't terribly detailed, so I'm not sure I would see anything with those, kwim? But yeah, if I felt like a pattern should be crisp and it looked fuzzy to me instead, i definitely think I would be bummed as well.

Perhaps the designs appear "fuzzy" because they're printed on textured/non-smooth paper. I don't gravitate toward the brand's vintage aesthetic, so I've only purchased a couple non-themed patterned papers by-the-sheet. While I also appreciated the texture & weight of CB papers, I was disappointed the colors were darker & drab in person compared to the product photos (viewed on both my laptop & phone screens), making the patterns barely noticeable.
