I just heard about these documentaries and am watching God & Country now. I’m a little surprised I haven’t heard them talked about here. Has anyone watched them? What are your thoughts?

I just watched God & Country last night.Very informative...& scary. One thing I found very interesting was how this whole Christian Nationalist movement gained steam after desegregation. Makes sense when you realize that. I also liked when the (former nun?) was asked are Christian Nationalists Christian (I could only read speakers' names, not the other info about them in smaller font). As she stated, good question!
Another documentary that was very informative to me was Shiny Happy People. I thought it would just be about how crazy the Duggar family was, but it taught me about the quiverful movement & how all these folks are getting into politics to change the govt. That was my wake up call to it all.
Another one I have down to watch is Unfit, supposedly on Tubi.

It was definitely scary. And it's also no wonder why fewer people are going to church or calling themselves Christians.

I hadn't heard of it, but I'll put it on my list. Christian Nationalism definitely has its roots in the anger of some white people here post-segregation and post-women's rights. It's disturbing.
