Absolutely travel. We did a USA/Canada trip which included an Alaskan cruise and the Rocky Mountaineer. Whilst we had an amazing time, I wish we had cut back a little. We did the Rocky Mountaineer from Banff to Vancouver. It was great but i feel insanely expensive for what it was.

Dental work. This included braces which are not covered by insurance, only covered if you are under 19 years old, my share of oral surgery and some implants. Still have the very expensive final dental work which should be completed next year.
Also card making supplies including inks, stamps, dies and some tools.

My grandkids! But DH and I have fun coming up with new adventures to share with them. We just hosted the 3 oldest for Wilderness Explorer Camp while their parents took a vacation and I had to work that theme.
And we hosted a first birthday party for one in May and in August, we are hosting another first birthday party for the youngest.

Books! Even though I buy almost all at goodwill it’s hard to turn down when they are such a deal!
And coffee…I go twice a week at Dunkin but need to cut it down to one time per week. They have a great reward and offers but still…

Uber Eats for sure. I was working on my budget this weekend, and I was a but shocked about how we spend on food delivery. It won't be easy to cut back though because they keep sending me an autonomous delivery (Nuro) and it's a PITA and they seem to take the longest routes ever.

my dh spent way too much on a new car. we can afford it.. but I would not have made that choice. oh well. We had the same situation with DH and his last SUV. I spent too much on lunch with friends, but no regrets. I spend too much on gas (see vehicle comment above, LOL), but that is due to my grandson's hockey schedule. My kids would say I spend too much on paper crafts, but I don't care! I've bought more books lately, too.

Definately vet expenses, and travel costs. I could have skimped on some hotels abroad, but oh well...

Probably band expenses for my kid. We upgraded her instrument and had it professionally cleaned ($300), spent $650 for her 8th grade band trip, $800 for one camp (she also had a merit scholarship for the rest), another $150 for a local jazz band camp, $600ish so far for private lessons, $70 for a pep band jacket, probably $150 for concert clothing and shoes, probably $150 combined for school band field trips, probably another $100-150 for music books, an instrument stand for home and a new cleaning kit. No regrets though because it’s something the kid loves and she’s good at it. It is so worth it! And it ends way too soon. —Band mom for 7 years

I have started using the Libby app and it has helped me cut way back on my book expenses.

Products for my "business", a flimsy excuse to make whatever things I want "to sell". 😁
But that's pretty much it, other than everything is expensive nowadays.

Almost $9k on dental work- needed 6 crowns for my upper front teeth. I need to start saving for the bottom 6 front teeth, as those are pretty shot as well.
I blame Sjogrens for this mess - I wish my medical insurance would cover the cost since my autoimmune disease ruined my teeth.

Why oh why are eyes and teeth not generally covered, or covered well by most health insuranc!? Not like they aren't part of body and health.
I too just got some bad teeth news this week and also mostly due to being immunocompromised. Sucks. I'm still in the thinking about it, pouring some and yet to make another appointment phase but know more $$$ will be surrendered.

Because dd and I have EDS and she has a Primary Immunodeficiency CVID, we both deal with a lot of dental issues. Doesn't matter how often we brush and rinse and swish...lots of money

I need 2 teeth pulled then will get 2 fake teeth retainer style. Bridge I think. Ugh

I was going to say nothing but then I made another donation on top of my regular reoccurring donation and on top of the donations dh and I both made when she announced…so I would say donations to the Harris campaign. 😀

About the same amount, too. I am now the proud owner of a bridge after removal of the bottom 4 front teeth.

My dentist told me last week he can't patch the bottom 6 again, so the next step is the crowns - just need to get the $$$ saved.

No regrets though because it’s something the kid loves and she’s good at it. I get it. I was a band mom raising money to keep the band afloat on top of the fees. It's a lifelong thing though. DD and I both play in a community concert band when she has time.

My dogs. No regrets. Worth every penny. Knowing I really really tried to save my last beagle was worth the peace of mind knowing I tried. I really really tried. Love you forever my darling dogs. I’ll never forget you. I'm sorry - dogs are family that's for sure. We spent $4,500 that included 3 days in dog ICU when our dog ate 41 pieces of gum. I was hell bent to make sure she was coming home!
