And let me tell you, I didn't even make it far into the store before I stopped cold. In front of me was the most beautiful display of 49 and Market. I haven't been in the loop for awhile on 'stuff' so this was all brand new to me. I haven't fallen in love with a product in a LONGGGG time. I won't even say how much I spent but it was too much but I couldn't help myself. The most I bought was Krafty Garden.. so so beautful. Then some random pieces of about six other lines they had. I bought paper, rubons, ephemera parks, washi rolls and some 6x8 pads.'' I will vow to use this paper and NOT hoard it. I'm just sitting here just messing with it. What to do?? lol. They also had a bunch of cute canvas bags with some of the same designs of the paper. I didn't buy any though. I need a bag like a hole in my head. For anyone interested it was a store called Simple Pleasures in Colorado Springs. Been there forever! Great selection. It is about 1 1/2 from me and I never get up that way. Actually it is probably best. haha The rest of the day consisted of 4 estate sales.. one way overpriced, one not much stuff but did very well.. couple of toys for grandson and 1 and 1/2 Costco laundry detergent containers for $10! The last estate sale was CRAZY full of stuff. Looked like the owner was a hoarder. Not in a gross way, but damn the house so full (more than I ever seen in my life).. the most cool thing I got was for my son, a handmade wooden plane (like the front of a plane) and the wings could be used for books. I'll put a picture in. IKEA was the next stop and got just a few things, nothing big and a birthday party. Exhausting day.

I was there a few days ago. She has the racks cleared out in the area for 12 new boxes of 49 and Market. So excited.

I love (most of) 49 and Market too!

You did a lot! I would be exhausted after all that. I have never seen any 49 and Market in person, ever. Maybe that is a good thing?

My love for the old October Afternoon ran deep, before that Chatterbox.. this tops both of them by a mile.. (still love the old stuff, but dang this 49 & Market is just so pretty) and well made

49th & Market's rub-ons are the best! They go on really easily and are so pretty. I have purchased quite a few of them.

I had the same experience when I was in Phoenix, AZ last year. They have a wonderful store called Scraps of Love. I got to see 49 & Market for the first time and fell in love. I used my "fun money" to buy some lovely things. No regrets. I used much of what I purchased, and I only have a few scraps left.

Love that store! I live in Maryland and may or may not find reasons to visit CS just so I can shop there. A good scrapbook store is worth the trip. An added bonus is that we love visiting Colorado.

It's actually in Peoria: Scraps of Love
