I just Googled "Fill in the blank obituary template" due to the thread about having you documents in order for when you pass.
Reminded me that I don't have my own obit written, and not that I've accomplished anything amazing with my life, but I'd like to have something written for my kids to use, just in case they need to (and don't want to deal with it themselves in a hard time).
What have the Peas made you Google lately?

I often Google books that get mentioned on the reading thread, I've had lots of good recommendations from the Peas.

I google a lot of the products recommended on the board. I've had some real wins here.

I have been googling facts about Vikings. My friend was going on and on about the show on Netflix. He told me there were two shows, Vikings and Valhalla. He said to start with the Vikings series, six seasons of it, I think, and then move on to Valhalla.
I started watching them, truthfully just so he would stop asking me if I had done so. I do find it really interesting, but terribly violent. I tend to stop the show and go google facts when something occurs that I want to learn more about.
And I say that I am watching the show, but truthfully, I have to either look away or close my eyes during the really violent stuff so I am only watching about half of each episode. I know they attacked in their own country to get land to farm to feed their people, and they went on raids and pillaged for things to use or sell. But when they brought back slaves, they were treated as less than their animals. Little girls were considered women and ready to be married at 12 years old! Although for them, life was short. Their average lifespan was 40-50 years, and that is only if they didn’t die in battle. So I guess they needed to marry and start having babies young because they didn’t live very long.
And watching this show makes me really happy to have been born in this era instead of during those very violent times.
**Damn. I just read the title again and saw you were looking for things the peas made you Google. Oops! Sorry!

I probably Google things that most of you wouldn’t wonder twice about but aren’t familiar to this Brit 😊

Not *made me*. I googled because I wanted to.
I have googled quite a few of the places mentioned in the various travel threads. If someplace piques my interest, then I google to learn more about...then I decide if I want to add it to my bucket list.

I remember googling "kitten heels". I didn't know what those were because mostly I hate shoes and have always owned athletic-type shoes, comfy sandals, and maybe one pair of shoes that could go with a dress/skirt. lol Merkin, because I led a sheltered life and had no idea what that was. haha Books from the reading thread. Lately, geometry towels. Sometimes movies or Netflix shows. Podcasts. I would like to like podcasts, so I google in hopes of finding one. But I never do.

I get so many ads, maybe it’s one to blame on the Peas? I couldn’t list how many things I’ve learned, for good or for bad. I’ll be searching for obit templates as soon as I’m done though. My family likes them short and sweet, not a biography. Somehow the funeral home still mangled one of my parents.

I passed over the Geometry towels post because it was created by a teacher. Assumed it was a tool somehow used in the classroom for teaching geometry!
Guess I need to join the crowd and Google it.

I thought the same thing about it being a tool for teaching geometry! lol. And that's exactly why I didn't google it when it first came up.

LOL. I didn't think of that when I posted. I see them mentioned all the time on Instagram, didn't realize they may be a bit unknown. Their tea towels are amazing though. I'm ready to recycle all of my others. The verdict is still out on bath towels.
