Has anyone used their new digital? Can they be used on the Cricut Joy?

I use the Heartfelt Creations digitals with my Silhouette. They also work on some Cricut machines, so I would think that they might work with the Cricut Joy.
If you want to do print and cut of their images, you will need a decent color printer.

I only planned on using it to die cut, not print the paper and cut it. Will the joy do their die files?

You don’t need to ask for a freebie, and the above responses that say Heartfelt Creations designs can’t be used with the Cricut Joy are only partly correct. You cannot use the digital stamps or regular digital dies, but…..
***Their print and cut designs are PNG files, which the Cricut Joy is shown as being able to use. ***
A Joy user can use the fully colored print and cut designs, such as their Elements for each collection. The Elements are basically the Ephemera of each HC collection, and they only cost $5 per Elements collection.
The digital papers cost more, but you don’t need a cutter to print the papers, only a printer, if you decide later that you want to buy the papers. Those who don’t have a wide format printer can just print them in 8x8 and trim off the white edges with a regular paper trimmer.
So yes, a Joy user CAN use Heartfelt Creations designs!

Well, guess that’s a no. I only wanted their digital dies, not the print & cut files. Oh well. Thanks to all who responded. I contacted HC and they said to download a file and try it.

I reread an earlier post by you about your friend that went into a care facility, and handcuts the printed images. This is an option for me. I don’t mind fussy cutting, I just won’t be able to download any ornate dies. Thank you for your help!

Sometimes I hand cut the designs if I forgot and changed things on the page after I have printed them (bad idea). I don’t mind fussy cutting, but having the machine cut them for me is so much faster and easier. |

I don’t have a newer Cricut other than the Joy. My large machine is the original cartridge one. I would buy a newer machine, but I’m also a gamer, and I’m saving my money for an XBox Series X.
