Thought I would try and add some questions to get the board moving.
What colors do you love to pair together? What colors do you look for when buying paper? Do you have a favorite paper brand that offers those colors together?

I love Felicity Jane - hot pink, turquoise and yellow (with a smidge of black) together. I used it so much!

I tend to like aqua/tropical blue a lot. It goes with a lot of colors, orange, yellow, blue. I don't necessarily know about a company that sells those colors specifically, so it really does't matter to me. I just buy it when I like it and justify it.

What colors do you love to pair together? Grey & white combined with at least one other color (e.g. grey/white/navy, pale grey/white/purple/teal, charcoal/white/red/black)
What colors do you look for when buying paper? I gravitate toward neutrals & cool colors.
Do you have a favorite paper brand that offers those colors together? Given the industry is currently (stereotypically) feminine/floral, retro/vintage/distressed/dated, &/or yellow (lots of unusual shades that IMHO often visually dominate), crisp, clean, neutral &/or cool color palettes are scarce (& Pinkfresh - & its few collaborations with Geralyn Sy/IACB, which likely did it best - are on a scrapbooking break ATM).

I like lime green and purple or lime green and fuchsia.
I gravitate to bolder, brighter colors. Not a fan of pastels or faded colors.
I don't have a preferred brand.

Thought I would try and add some questions to get the board moving. What colors do you love to pair together? What colors do you look for when buying paper? Do you have a favorite paper brand that offers those colors together? I find that I buy a lot of blue, yellow, and green. And because I scrap by matching photos to paper colors, I'm not fussy about what brands I buy if I'm just trying to boost a certain color in my stash. For instance the other day I sorted my misc. papers by color (those I did not buy more than say 1-3 sheets from a collection), and found I am terribly lacking in purple. I don't use a lot of purple, but I still don't like the idea of not having any. (Now I know I have some packed away, but I'm only counting the one box full of paper I'm working with these days.) So when I was shopping the clearance papers at ACOT over the weekend, any time I noticed a purple B-side to a paper, I stopped to check it out more closely. As for colors I enjoy pairing together, I don't know. I don't start with the papers, so I don't start with a color pairing, either. And my satisfaction with a LO typically depends on how well I think my papers go with the photos, so I tend not to pay much attention to the color pairings as long as they work together, of course! I will say that I have a paper line in which I have gone back and purchased more and more of it 3 or 4 times now, and the colors in that line are a spring green, a dark woodsy brown, a medium yellow, and a mellow aqua-ish hue, and I love using that line. So clearly those colors together make me happy.

I would tend to say that aqua and orange with a woodgrain are *so* appealing to me - like the recent doodlebug camping line. Doodlebug colours are really pleasing to my eye in general, very clean, no beige or grey to them.
But
They are completely wrong for a lot of scrapping - I need muted colours and tones and shades. I need variety. I get so tired of ANY colour combination after a few uses!

Fun question! I pay attention to color combos everywhere, fashion, ads, even packaging. It’s always interesting to see what colors do for each other. I use a lot of sky blue with turquoise with a pop of pink, yellow or tangerine for my project life. Those colors are good for my photos right now. I look forward to the change in season and to work with fall combos. I have a few layouts of guitars where I used wood grain, orangey-red, black and turquoise and loved working with that combo.

I really like making combinations with lots of different colors. But my very favorite is probably red and pink. Or pink and yellow or red and yellow. Haha. And I love anything paired with black and white- black/white and red, black/white and pink…. You get it.

I love red and yellow together. Off the top of my head, I feel like Simple Stories & Echo Park have a few collections that have a nice shades of these colors.
When I am shopping, I am drawn to bright (almost neon adjacent) colors.

A color + its lighter version. So dark brown and tan, navy blue and lighter blue, black and gray etc.
Lime green and aqua also popped into my head while thinking of how to answer this question.

I gravitate towards blues, orange, green and grey for DS. They seem to fit his personality and what he wears. I love how the grey makes the orange pop and then it can be muted down with the blues and greens.
For dd, I love to use pinks, blues, and yellows.
As for brands, I tend to get Cocoa Vanilla, SS, Pinkfresh Studio, and Crate Paper.

Oh, I meant to add, Pinkfresh and Hip Kit is what I use for the lt blue/lt turquoise and pink/yellow/or orange combos. Their papers coordinate well with each other.

What colors do you love to pair together? I love pink & orange and pink & green. I also tend to use Navy where most people use black, like for journaling and embellishments. When I create scrapbook pages, I usually choose my pairings based on the colors of the photos, so you want find a lot of my favorite color pairs in my books.
What colors do you look for when buying paper? I don't specifically for colors, although I do avoid anything purple. I'm usually looking for papers that I feel will work with photos I plan to scrap, but then sometimes I'll just buy something pretty, like I recently bought SS Simple Vintage Meadow Flowers - all pastel papers - and hope I will find some great photos that work with it.
Do you have a favorite paper brand that offers those colors together? My favorite brands are 49 & Market, SS, and VB, and its likely all 3 have used my fav colors combos.
