Chinagirl828 AussieMeg Thank you! Very happy to be back among you all. And yes, AussieMeg, the Tapatalk notification email from the NSBR thread awoke me from my slumber, just in time for Christmas and Halloween releases. 😆

A VERY FESTIVE FAYRE, Tonic Studios Not a traditional SB line but geared towards paper crafting with stamp + die sets rather than paper embellishments but the paper pad is pretty (and a little reminiscent of Basic Grey Christmas lines of yore) so I just had to share it!

Thank you for tagging me. That's truly THE WORST best example of that I've ever seen. WTF.

Really loving the offerings this year, esp Santa’s village.
The Winnie the Pooh line makes me wish my kids were little again!

Well, I'm now hoping to find more doggies in the new Christmas lines because I spent the last few days helping to foster fail my mother's chihuahua's new chichi sister. I need both girls in matching Christmas sweaters, matching winter coats, Santa hats and eating their special Christmas dinner in my December Daily this year. A very early merry Christmas to my fam'! 🎁 Best day of the year so far, not even exaggerating. (Pic of Twilly in the spoiler 😉)

There's a really cute collection coming to Spellbinders from Rosie' Studio. I'm not familiar with the brand but here's a link to the ephemera Rosie's Studio

If you want to see it being used dearly dee on YouTube generally uses the kits every year for her December projects (she also has a patreon for the project you can sign up to to craft along as she makes her album etc): www.rosiestudio.com/product-category/oh-joyful-day/One of the best things is the diecut packs have two of each design in them so if you have a scrappy friend you can buy one pack and split it 😁

I do not understand the CP acetate of DIY houses. What are you supposed to do with that?

I do not understand the CP acetate of DIY houses. What are you supposed to do with that? Cut apart, fold, put together to make small (tiny?) gift boxes. DIY Advent calendars are the on the rise. I'm hoping it's cardstock rather than acetate 'cause that would be a b*tch to fold and keep glued together.

See the image also has the packaging sticker in the corner? I do f see how that’s at all functional.

I tried finding a better image when I posted the collection last month but nothing better came up back then. Specialty papers with AC can be acetate, vellum, laser-cut, foil finish. I'm hoping it's just laser-cut to pop the houses out easily instead of fussy-cutting them. ETA: Found updated product photos at SB.com. It's pre-cut and pre-scored cardstock, honeypea!

I am having a hard time with the Fancy Pants Christmas collection: the keys, train images, hot air balloons, pocket watch. It feels disjointed and un-Christmas to me. The more I look at it, the more AI generated it feels. There are a lot of Fancy Pants collections I have liked in the past, but their new designs do not fit my scrapbooking aesthetic.

My mistake sleepingbooty ! A couple weeks ago I had searched for Christmas acetate on one of the scrapbook sites and this came up, so I assumed that was true. I was hoping for another lovely option like the Paige Evans poinsettia one last year and when this popped up I was aghast. 😆 The images you posted are cute.

Is steampunk making a comeback in scrapbooking? It's such an odd collection, indeed. I guess someone out there has a son/grandson who's obsessed with trainspotting and will make great use of this one but I don't think it'll be very successful otherwise. My mistake sleepingbooty ! A couple weeks ago I had searched for Christmas acetate on one of the scrapbook sites and this came up, so I assumed that was true. Meh, more like AC's mistake for leaving us hanging and wondering for over a month. 🙃 I also wondered what we'd get when I saw the generic mock-up images. Just glad to see we finally have some IRL photos of the products and that is cardstock rather than the dreaded acetate which would be a frustration to do 3D with. Probably one of the cutest products to come out of what is, alas, an unoriginal CP holiday line.
