Love the colours in this one but it’s really not something I can make work in summer!

Love the colours in this one but it’s really not something I can make work in summer! They put a snowflake on every damn piece, didn't they?! The colors looked quite good for summer Xmas so it's a shame. I don't know if it's really your style but I'm going to make some lovely summer/beach Xmas cards with this Paper Rose collection. My nana loved proteas so it's perfect for my family. www.scrapbook.com/store/pr-31193.html

I am having a hard time with the Fancy Pants Christmas collection: the keys, train images, hot air balloons, pocket watch. It feels disjointed and un-Christmas to me. The more I look at it, the more AI generated it feels. There are a lot of Fancy Pants collections I have liked in the past, but their new designs do not fit my scrapbooking aesthetic. Is steampunk making a comeback in scrapbooking? It's such an odd collection, indeed. I guess someone out there has a son/grandson who's obsessed with trainspotting and will make great use of this one but I don't think it'll be very successful otherwise. Both of my childrens' grandfathers are railfans so I'll be buying one of the papers to turn into cards for various occasions.
I usually go for the Simple Stories Vintage collection but I don't like the snow all over it and I really should use stash this year.
