Do you prefer stacked letters/DIY Thickers/ Dickers or do you prefer a title with an outline like this? (skip to 6:20) Do you create dimension with layers or use foam tape or use flat letters?

all of the above? It depends on the layout, whether I'm using my Cricut with SCAL or with cartridges or if I'm using QK or metal dies. I don't tend to use foam tape on titles though

I love both looks! I typically layer up die cut letters ("dickers"), but I have a few word dies and letter dies that have an outline, and in that case I love 2-3 layers for the central component, and a single layer for the shadow layer.

It varies, depending on the look I'm going for.

I layer them, with a shadow. I do that quite often, too.

Omg lol well since you linked my video my answer is obviously dickers lol. Sometimes I try to use up some letter stickers and save time. I tend to decide somewhere in the process which way to go.

It's a great video! I just saw it for the first time. I haven't gone too deep into manual die-cutting. I only have a Sidekick right now. I'm just testing the waters. If I find that I really love it, I'll splurge on a Big Shot or one of the Spellbinders cutting machines. I have way too many Thickers and other alphas right now...they are organized, but they still drive me crazy.

All of the above. I also use alpha stamps and fussy cut.

If you are only going to do alphas or small stuff I highly recommend the new spellbinders scout. It folds up and it's so cute. I have been keeping it out on my desk for dickers.

Do you prefer stacked letters/DIY Thickers/Dickers or do you prefer a title with an outline like this? (skip to 6:20) I prefer the latter, specifically letter/words + a solid outline/shadow layer (not a thin/fiddly border).
Do you create dimension with layers or use foam tape or use flat letters? I prefer flat layouts but occasionally use an additional layer(s) of (hidden) cardstock to add dimension to titles, photos, etc.

I sometimes use the Thickers look. I’d like to try one where I’d cut out each letter in 2 colors for a shadowing effect.
