I was a bit surprised to see they are already in the stores.
Google chicken skeleton...you can get a giant one $$$ or a smaller one for under $50.
It can remind you of the chicken story that is part of Pea lore.

I have a neighbor in my subdivision that I see on my walks -- they decorate their 12ft tall skeleton for every month of the year. While I am glad they don't live next door to me, I do enjoy seeing their skeleton dressed up as cupid, and Uncle Sam (and as a football player, etc) throughout the year. |

I don't always walk in front of their house (change routes for safety) but I am going to make an effort to plan my walks in front of their home so I can snap a photo at the beginning of each month. Last year during football season, they made the skeleton a football player and then someone else added a Taylor Swift mannequin (I know the home owner didn't do it because he was asking on our neighborhood app if anyone would fess up). It was cute. |

mom that sounds cool! Post some pictures if you can! I saw something on IG once where someone ordered the 12' skeleton from a Chinese company, I don't think Temu, and they received a 12" one! It was either an intentional misrepresentation, or they got the feet and inches symbol mixed up.

It basically shows a house decorated for Halloween with the message, "July 4th has passed. Can we start hanging Halloween decorations?" There are quite a few of these memes out there about decorating for Halloween after July 4th. |

Someone in our neighborhood has the 12 ft. Skeleton but it doesn't get dressed...just the large Skeleton is put out.

My DD and I are stalking Marshall's and HomeGoods for a little ghost walking a ghost dog. It's a pretty good size little thing. She is in the process of buying a house and if I find only 1, she gets it as a housewarming gift.

Excited for ds to be back at school. It has been tradition since they were both in full day elementary school that I would go to various stores a d buy the first Halloween or fall item of the year! Will be my 12th year do this.
Going to go to Marshalls, HomeGoods, and TJ Max to see if I can find anything Peanuts related.

We have a 5 foot skeleton we call Buddy. For storage reasons I do not wish to own a 12 foot one, though I do enjoy seeing them at other houses in town. Buddy sits in our front living room window and contemplates checkers or chess during October, and October only. On Halloween night he comes outside to hand out treats with us, and then he has a plastic bin he can fit in when folded, and its' back to the attic with him.  I let the kids basically decorate the entire house as they wish for Halloween, but I like to decorate for fall & Thanksgiving without ghouls and ghosts and gore, so they get October, and I get to put out leaves and pumpkins and gourds in Sept. & November. |

We have a 5 foot skeleton too! Last year she was in a pink bathrobe with a wig and sunglasses sitting on our porch drinking coffee.
This year I am not sure what we will do. Previous year she was in KC Chiefs gear rooting for our team.
Maybe sitting petting a skeleton pet?

I'm so ready for fall/Halloween but it's still incredibly hot here in DFW and I'd be way shunned if I started putting up fall decor. I'll wait until Sept 1st then all bets are off!

I love Halloween! My family always loved Halloween when I was growing up and threw a big costume party every year. And then Esther was born on October 30th. We always had a big Halloween party for her. I've collected so many things over the years. I have more Halloween stuff than Christmas. And I sneak things out little by little. Jeremy does notice but he keeps it to himself. 😉 |
