... ideas? It took 7 days to get to Stockton from CT. Free shipping on large sale order, if that matters.
Have you ever had a package STUCK somewhere?
I wasn't able to get any new info from the website. Off to look for a phone number

Yes. I just had a UPS package that was stuck after getting as far as SLC from Houston. It left SLU and then encountered an "emergency" situation that I believe was due to the wildfires. It sat in nowhere land from the 24th until it was delivered to me in Seattle earlier today. Are there wild fires and/or highways closed between you and Stockton?

We had a package stuck at UPS for over two weeks. It would say it was out for delivery, then at the end of the day, it was back at the distribution center. A couple of days later, the cycle would repeat. We finally called them and arranged for pickup. Thankfully the center was only about 10 miles away.
I hope you get your package. 76 miles is sort of far to go pick it up. Good luck!
ETA - Can you get the seller to make an inquiry? They usually have more clout than the receiver.

Thanks ladies. There are lots of fires burning in Cali but I don't think any of them are between us and Stockton. Off to check, great suggestion MichyM . katlady - two WEEKS??? Crazy. Thanks, I will reach out to the seller.

Two years ago I made a Christmas wreath our family dubbed “the inclusivity wreath”. It had little winter characters in varying skin tones. Some of the cute winter animals were in wheelchairs. Another cute person had a walking stick and dark sunglasses. At the top of the wreath I’d planned an interracial Santa & Mrs. Claus to celebrate the relationship between my partner and I. It wasn’t an entirely accurate representation as we had to make do with the genders and skin tones available, but I’m mixed race and we’re not hung up on gender so it was cool.
Every single ornament got here except for Black Santa. Black Santa was traveling all over the USA, often passing through our area without stopping. It became a game. We could see him moving across the map going back and forth. Every day we’d check to see where Black Santa was in the hopes he’d join Mrs. Claus at the top of my wreath. I called customer service several times trying to find him and they always got a kick out of the family tracking Black Santa.
They eventually agreed to replace him, but he was no longer in stock. They sent me White Santa but we really wanted an interracial couple and brown Santa sold out long before I ordered. I decided to call FedEx and explain on the off chance anything could be done. We checked and Black Santa was about to pass our area again. Imagine my surprise when Black Santa showed up shortly before Christmas!
Whoever I spoke to must of relayed our conversation because there was a note attached saying Santa was busy helping deliver all the Christmas boxes and got delayed. I just assumed it got stuck in a little corner of a truck or plane and just kept going from place to place. I’ll never know what happened or if the person actually knew there was a Santa inside.

I had a package stuck for a month at my local Fed ex place. They wouldn't let me pick it up and eventually it was considered lost. Is it from a store? I would file a lost item complaint. It will either get it moving or they should refund you.

There is a Bermuda triangle between DC and Baltimore. Had numerous packages get stuck travelling back and forth between those two locations and a third that I can’t remember.
Once had a package make it to the local hub, after a week of bouncing around that triangle, only to be returned to bounce around some more. It’s stupid! Tends to be a certain on-line store’s packages, too.
I have actually had packages arrive quicker from Japan (pens/stationary) than that store (journals).

I was in the same situation - my package was sitting on 45 miles away for two days. First I received a notice from the shipper that my package would deliver the next day via Fedex, then I received a message from Fedex that my package was delayed due to "delivery issues". When I tracked the package it was sitting at the facility 40 miles away. I think the delivery issue was that Fedex didn't have any thing else coming to my area and was waiting until they did. UGH.

I recently had a pkg shipped from TN to me in Tennessee. It left Tennessee and went to California and Colorado before finally getting back to Tennessee and to me. FedEx is usually the best in my experience but not this time.

FedEx is usually the best in my experience but not this time. I have noticed that when I would order an Apple device on release date, it would get shipped from the west coast to the FedEx hub in Tennessee and then back to the west coast. It still made it on time, but seems like such a waste of resources in shipping.

This should be the seller's problem That store or person needs to call fedex and have the package traced. Then if it's a store they should either ship a replacement or refund you the full amount. If it's EBAY then the seller should file a tracer claim. If EBAY did you buy insurance?
Good luck getting your item. I hope it resolves, quickly.

I ordered t-shirts once, that spent so long in Tacoma (had to drive past my house to get there) that I asked for a refund and the company sent me new shirts. I now have two sets of the same snarky t-shirts...

I took a very long break from scrapbooking (over a decade). Ironically, I decided to start scrapping again 2-3 months after Black Santa’s adventures. I’ve thought about scrapping it anyway and lamented not being in a scrappy frame of mind at the time. Maybe I’ll screenshot other packages and substitute them on the page for the sake of telling the story with a disclaimer. I love your idea for the title! Luckily I do have pictures of the kids in our family with the wreath. I also have a pic of one of the little ones pointing at Santa indicating he’s safe and sound.

Magnetic Me. They make onesies and sleepers for babes and toddlers that have magnetic fasteners. DD and her DH love them. I recently ordered about 10 pieces, some for a baby shower, and some batching big sister/ baby sister outfits. I had the opportunity to purchase package insurance and didn't do so, never having had issues in the past. No insurance, they are not bothered by my problem.

Thanks for sharing your stories everyone. I guess we just have to wait and see if this package ever turns up. In the meantime, sweet DGD is outgrowing her clothes!

flanz Stockton is a fed ex black hole. I’d calle fed ex and ask if you can pick up at their facility where it is. It has tracking so they should be able to find it there. I always hold my breath when I see a package in Stockton. Tracy is almost as bad.

I call the "customer service" number and after going through it all with the bot, i get a message saying that if my question hasn't been answered to call a specific number which is THE SAME NUMBER I called initially. NO option to speak with an actual human. The bot says it's given me all of the info they have currently about my package. GRRR

Maybe try going to a local fed ex place and ask them for help. How frustrating. I hate when stuff is sent fed ex because it usually gets stuck in the black holes of Tracy or Stockton.

Sometimes that will get you a real person. Was it the customer service for that office or a general customer service number? When I had to track down our UPS package, I called that particular office directly, not a general UPS number. At this hour, and on a Saturday, it may be hard to get a real person. I hope you can find your package! So frustrating!!

You could also try messaging the company on FB or IG and include the fact that you cannot get through to anyone on the phone.
