About the only time we eat out for breakfast is when we’re on vacation - either at our hotel or it’s our first stop for the day before sightseeing. Ww rarely go for brunch on weekends. Between errands Saturday and 10:30 church on Sundays, it really doesn’t work well time wise. Occasionally we’ll do lunch after church, if others in the community ask us to join them.

I like the idea of it but hate eggs. Nearly every menu option seems to have eggs.

We only go out to breakfast if we have to go somewhere in the morning- usually to drop a car for service.

We do but it is to First Watch. I hate Ihop. As for getting "dressed" up. I shower, throw on clothes and don't really care if I have makeup on.

I love going out to breakfast. My favorites are The Original Pancake House (I love the Dutch babies) and First Watch. IHOP is okay, but not my first choice.
Since I'm single, I go by myself quite a bit. Breakfast is my favorite meal.
When the kids were little we'd go every weekend. Covid killed that, and now the kids have their own lives and interests. I miss those breakfasts, though. We did go out to breakfast with the kids on vacation and it was so nice to do that again.

It is pretty rare that I eat breakfast these days since I fast and I don't typically break my fast until noon. I love the idea of going out for breakfast, it just never happens. Realistically, I would only go out to breakfast on the weekends and my husband works Sunday morning so that leaves Saturday. It just doesn't happen.

DH and I go on a breakfast date every weekend, either on Saturday or Sunday depending on our schedule that week. I don't wear makeup on a regular basis (only some specific special occasions), and I generally shower later in the day. We're also early risers. So none of that is a hindrance to going out early for me. We're usually out the door between 7-8 am. We have a local place we go to most of the time that we really enjoy. It's a really nice opportunity for us to just chat and reconnect when we're normally very busy with work and family things, even as semi-empty nesters.

We live in a 55+ where many are retired. We have a group who goes out for breakfast once a month to different places, and it's great fun. I don't usually eat breakfast at home but I treat myself to waffles or omelettes and enjoy being out. No one is very fancy at breakfast so GO, and don't worry about your makeup!

I usually go to breakfast once a week or so. Sometimes I'll take myself and sometimes I'll take my parents. We tend to go around 10 or so and we have so many breakfast/lunch places around that we usually don't have to wait.
A new place just opened down the street and it's on my list to try. So far I've heard good things.

I love it when I do but I rarely even think about it to be honest. Maybe once every six weeks.

We typically go to our favorite Mexican restaurant every Saturday morning. Must have their chilaquiles verdes! I don't usually wear makeup on the weekends unless we were to go as a group, so it's just not that big of a deal for me. I wake up at 5am most days, so waking up at 9 is easy.

I'm in the camp that goes for more of a brunch time than not, with minimal makeup and, usually, casual dress.
That said, I can't go to IHOP anymore. I didn't grow up with one nearby, but loved to stop at one when on a family trip. But we moved and there's one pretty close so I took my daughter a few months ago and it was terrible. The restaurant was so run down. There were so few employees - certainly nobody at the host stand to greet or seat you. And the food was all terrible. The pancakes didn't even taste good - dry and tasteless. Maybe this one is an outlier, though.
I did find a GREAT local breakfast place, though. It's a mother and daughter team and everything is made with such care: perfectly crisp home fries, eggs/omelets expertly made, really delicious sourdough bread for toast, and good coffee, too. I went there for my birthday and was happy to pay a little extra for everything!

I meet a former coworker for late breakfast/early lunch at OPH. As to makeup, meh, I no longer care if I show up with makeup if I go to breakfast early in the morning. I'm a 66 year old widow. I don't think anyone cares.

I don't think I've ever gone out for breakfast other than on vacation. Even then I'd prefer to have a kitchen and make breakfast. I don't like waiting for everyone to shower, get ready, then go out and that takes an hour. All of a sudden it's at least 10 or 11 am. Screws up the whole day.

First Watch is sooooooooo good. We have never been disappointed with anything on their breakfast menu, and they aren't all carb-fests either. We don't eat out much, but First Watch breakfast is one of our favorites.

We quite often go for a walk then stop on our way back at a local cafe for breakfast so we shower afterwards. It does break into the day a bit but it’s Sunday so for us, that what sundays are often for - not worrying about time, assuming we don’t have anything particular to do 😊

Tons of non-egg options- pancakes, waffles. French toast, a BLT, a plate of bacon and a side of toast, and so on.

I used to go out to breakfast a lot before the pandemic. Now I have to be careful. There are a couple of places DS and I love so when we do go out to breakfast, we try to hit one or the other.

I meet a couple of girlfriends once a month for breakfast at a local cafe.
Occasionally, my sister and I meet up for breakfast. I'm an early riser and usually I am up, showered, dressed (and if I am going out) have make up on by 8:00 so it isn't an issue for me to meet people for breakfast. It's nice.
Plus, you don't have to eat breakfast in the morning at places like IHOP - you can have breakfast for lunch or dinner

We never, ever go out for breakfast at home. We seldom do on vacation. The only exception is the Pancake House in Gatlinburg Tennessee but we haven't been there in years. It was worth the trouble and the calories. Even when we travel, we eat whatever is provide at the hotel or pick up something the night before and eat in our room.

DH and I don’t eat breakfast, but if we do go out for brunch, I will have the eggs Benny. Or avocado toast, things I don’t make at home.
