on the election or Trump... It's like a relief!! LOL.. I don't have the news on much but I have either been glued to the Olympics or just streaming movies or shows. I almost feel like a weight has been lifted at least for a bit.

I check the headlines and there are some doozies today, but not following through for now.. watched the Kayak X, that looks like fun, but bruising.. not getting the 3x3 basketball, but maybe when I played, in the dark ages, girls didn't cross center court so you actually were playing 3x3..
I tend to enjoy finding the lesser known sports.
Although I will say the Women's AND Men's gymnastic sure we're a mess this morning .
I watched archery yesterday and even some shooting.

The election has been giving me anxiety. So I've gone and snoozed all the election pages on Facebook. Like Orange fruitcake, Cat Ladies for Kamala and a few others. I used to find them really funny, but the comments from the trump supporters were getting real bad. Those pages didn't seem to have any moderators. I am happy for the reprieve with the Olympics, but unfortunately, some of those have gotten real political as well. What does a country that is not involved in our politics, have to do with our politics? The poor female boxer, was raked through the coals. And some people blamed President Biden and Vice President Kamala about her. Various other things are being blamed on our current administration as well. Like the opening ceremonies. It just got to be too much. The hate is real.

I try never to read the comments because some are so vile and uninformed it’s scary. And yes, I try not to read much about politics because it does cause me anxiety. I am planning on taking a sleep aid on election night because I don’t think my blood preassure can handle that.

I have watched *zero* Olympics.  I just stay off IG reels or avoid YT videos if I want to avoid politics. |
