Demo day was today! The kitchen gut has begun. Painting the walls tomorrow and cabinet install soon. Of course I want to do a few before/after spreads! Any ideas, or paper, out there? Or has anyone done some kitchen remodel layouts for inspiration?  20240501_182439 by  20240805_133246 by |

Reminisce had a paper pack called The Home Edition that was about remodeling. Not sure if that would fit your ideas. I don't really have any other advice though. Sorry!  |

Photoplay - DIY: Home Edition was released a couple years ago; it appears to still be available at SB.com (& perhaps other online retail &/or discount craft stores). Best wishes with the remodel!

I have big regrets because I don't have a picture of my kids' bathroom and its former penguin theme!

We are just about to start renovations on our house, as well! I don’t have any specific collections I’m working with, but I did this LO with a combination of Shimelle Reasons to Smile, and Vicki B’s Bold + Bright. Click to enlarge. Sorry if the image is blurry. We moved after 30+ years and our new to us house hadn't been updated, We went on a renovation rampage inside and out. I ended up using pics from the old house to the new one and then the upgrades. I had so many before and afters of so many areas that I just used 3 of those 12 x 12 page protectors that hold pictures individually. I tucked the page protector pages in between the two layouts.

I used a lot of die cuts. Paint bucket and brush, hammer, nails, screws, saws and other tools. I also had some "measuring tape" washi tape.

For someone who is pretty damn literal, I didn't scrap my remodel with a construction theme. I used Basic Grey Urban Luxe, which I had two collection packs of. I haven't finished those layouts (my kitchen was done in July 2019). Luckily I documented the entire process on Instagram so I have all my trials and tribulations written down. My kitchen is blue and white, so the colors of that line work for me. I'll have to post some photos.

I don't have home reno layouts, exactly, but I do have layouts of moving, assembling furniture, installing wallpaper, etc. I used various collections, but mostly just "home" based ones not reno themed. But I think those lines didn't exist when I was scrapping this, so that's why. If you want to see links to the layouts, let me know!

What about using the blueprints or renderings of the space as your background paper. I add a smaller photo on top, embellish and just let the design speak for itself. Also consider using color swatches, paint chips, etc.

We started remodeling the baths just as COVID appeared and workers, bless their hearts kept getting sick and supplies were a challenge. It took two years to complete all the bathrooms in this house but very happy with the outcome.
The house was a foreclosure so a lot of remodeling.

We are close to the finish line of our kitchen remodel and I love all the suggestions. I'll be on the hunt as I plan to do the pages at a crop in October!
