scrapmaven I'm so glad you are feeling better and are testing negative❣️ sueg great to hear all went smoothly. I pray you have an easy recovery. **GypsyGirl** glad he was able to get off the vent. I pray this brings around his full recovery. My furbaby hasn't had a reoccurrence so I will wait until next week's appointment since it still is concerning. He looks good today. Had my hair appointment and then we had Thai food today.

Dinner was a charcuterie board that DSO put together. We each got a $50 voucher from DSO's brother for Christmas for (what we thought was) Aummans Deli. So last Sunday we drove to the deli and bought a ton of nice stuff like cheeses, fennel salami, dips, crackers etc, that we wouldn't normally buy. What a nice treat! Our bill came to $120, okay great, we only have to pay an extra $20. We handed the vouchers over, only to discover that they are actually for Aumanns Garden Supplies, not Aumanns Deli! How embarrassing! So we had to fork out $120 on stuff that we really did not need to buy. But anyway, it made a nice simple dinner for us! Your story is sort of funny. Did the deli associate chuckle? Sounds like a delicious meal.
She was only young, and wasn't quite sure what to do, so she called the manager over. It was all quite awkward. I said to DSO as we walked out "Well that's money we didn't need to spend - that could have been twenty happy hour cocktails at the pool bar in Thailand!"

Good news today! So glad everything went well sueg**GypsyGirl** hopefully your dh can get going on his PT after this. We had chicken tacos. Nothing crazy. My bff had to put her dad in a memory care facility so she had to put his condo up for sale. I helped all day with sorting. Unfortunately his condo assoc doesn’t allow garage sales. jeremysgirl she never ceases to amaze me.

Is this weekend leannec ’s staycation? I can’t remember. She didn’t post on the thread today. Here I am! We are settled in our hotel room ... it is HUGE! . We are staying at the Fairmont Palliser in Calgary ... it was built in 1914 and is gorgeous! We Uber'ed to the hotel late this afternoon and then chilled in the room for awhile before getting ready for dinner ... had a drink in the hotel bar and then walked a block to the restaurant where we feasted on oysters, risotto, brisket and pasta! The dd's had chocolate cake for dessert ... I can't eat dessert - no biggie because I was so full anyway! Now we are relaxing in the room on our laptops and phones ... we party hard! I'll post photos tomorrow ... I can still start the threads this weekend.

karenlou , What did you buy? If you didn't buy a Sleep Number or other adjustable bed, please go back and do so now. I love my Sleep Number bed so so much. No sleep number for us either....We live VERY close to Gardner Mattress....the 2 sets we currently have are from Gardner, so we will move the set on our bed to the guest bed and "gift" the guest bed set. They are both 20 and 25 years old each and as the gentleman at Gardner said ..so just starting to be broken in!!! Their product is pretty amazing and last forever.
