NONE OF THAT WAS BREAKDANCING!!
Yes, I'm screaming, but not at you. That was some raggedy bending, but not breaking.

I can appreciate the athleticism of dance, all kinds of dance. But, this seemed to be so depleted in a way. I guess to be able to score it there were moves that had been broken down, maybe too far and it affected the fluidity of the breaking?
That said the last place women’s person was skill wise the last place. The top group of the women’s final were actually ok but it still seemed to be missing something, not sure what. The showpersonship 🤷♀️?
Maybe I’ve just watched too many dance movies &/or too much so you think you can dance, but it felt lacking in something.

I glanced at the screen from a distance and thought there was some sort of display going on rather than an actual competition. I'm sure they're strong and athletic but then why not include other forms of dance? I'm not sure I'm a fan Because in other forms of dance, what you do in break dancing would not be an accepted form in those dances. Breaking does a or of “tricks” that are closer to gymnastics and even cheer than you would find in classical ballet where the ballerina, although wildly athletic, is not allowed to even perform a split on the ground—if you a split it is usually doing a lift or a traveling leaping aerial movement. Most dance forms don’t compare well to each other at all.
