Your cookies and your bread sound delicious AussieMeg. No I'm not setting myself up for nor have I ever had an eating disorder. I do believe that even counting calories can become obsessive and unhealthy. That's not good for anyone. I'm just trying to run a clean experiment. If nothing happens, then I'll know but if I don't stick as close as I can then I won't know if it was the diet or the fact that I didn't stick to it that resulted in the failure kwim? Plus I'll just say that I have hypothyroid and PCOS. Weight loss is hard. PCOS messes with everything too. And I do not want to take the weight loss meds. I just don't want more stuff messing with my head. So I really want something to work. I have lost 12 pounds in 9 weeks. So not too bad. My blood pressure has been better too.

I went to summer camp for years on Lake Chautauqua. Back in the ’60s before most of you were born. Judy26, sorry I missed you … hope you’re feeling okay now.

late response.. left idaho 6:15 am idaho time. After at least 20 yrs of passing it, I stopped at the California trail interpretive center west of Elko. It was a lovely small museum...including lots on the donner party and bidwell party.. dh actually had an ancestor travel the california trail and was in sacramento by 1853. there is still a rural road with his name near there.
I got home at 7 pm SF time. the fridge was totally empty.. so I am having an apple slices with peanut butter for dinner. I snacked on stuff all day. watching the olympics.
my sister in law with cancer is not doing well and is coming to a point where the chemo is not working. I am quite concerned about her. I will see her next weekend when I am in seattle. spending three weeks camping, with my dd and her wife.. so will have no reports on our lovely freeze dried dinners and oatmeal packets.
dh is still in idaho.. and doesn't know his schedule.
