Just got my membership yesterday. That was a bit of an ordeal.
I used to go to Costco with my boyfriend so I do recognize stuff there that I really liked. I used to love their stuffed peppers and I saw them there yesterday, so that is a must. I saw the naan I used to like, too. What else do they have that you particularly like?

Spinach artichoke dip (fantastic w/ warmed naan dippers) Cranberry-orange bisconi (I'd call them muffin tops) from the bakery - when they have them Kirkland women's wool crew socks (seasonal, obv) - very stretchy but they stay up, and they're not scratchy at all Great Lakes potato chips - any flavor Pineapple sauce (like applesauce) pouches Eggplant parmesan (frozen - I think it's Rao's brand?)

Super thick pork chops with souvlaki rub in the meat section. So delicious. We feed 5 adults, but you can freeze some for smaller meals.
I buy Kirkland brand paper towels and toilet paper. My go to is Bounty and Charmin Essentials, but I also like Kirkland.
We also buy Folger's when it's on sale.

I got a membership about a month ago. Its a bit intimidating in there!
Sous vide egg bites in the refrigerator section. Two-pack of goat cheese logs - I really love goat cheese, so a two-pack was okay for me. Rotisserie chicken meat. There isn't the whole bird, or skin and bones to deal with, just the meat. Salad topping mixes - it's a mix of nuts and seeds to sprinkle over salad. There may have been a few different mixes.
I also bought a super cute black knit blazer. It doesn't have buttons, but hangs beautifully. It also came in a light brown colour and a dusty sage colour.

Their hummus, feta, Aidel's chicken sausages and Stacey's Pita chips are always in our house.
Dried mangoes (no sugar), unsalted cashews, shelled pistachios, vitamins and electrolytes.

I buy so much at Costco since joining Instacart when the pandemic started. I get their rotisserie chicken, of course, or if you are feeding more people, the package of rotisserie chicken meat that has been already pulled from the bone is a very convenient buy. I get that when I am making up a large batch of chicken soup or enchiladas.
I buy several kinds of nuts, particularly the pecans. The box of brownie mix is very good also. It has something like 6 packages in the box for $15. I add the pecans to the brownies.
When I was juicing regularly, the big bags of kale, carrots, and spinach came in very handy.
I really like the sweet onions.
Jarlsberg sliced cheese
Frozen Alaska salmon patties and the Impossible plant-based burger patties are both fantastic. I bought one of those $10 little electric burger patty things. Since it cooks both sides at once, your patty is ready in 6 minutes. Just enough time to get your bun or sides ready. I use the salmon patty without any bun. Just a bit of sour cream with dill mixed in and a vegetable and you have a quick meal.
Sandwich thins. It comes with 3 packages which seems like a lot but I freeze two right away. I use these for the above mentioned Impossible burgers instead of buns. I also make up my own breakfast sandwiches. I ordered a flat round silicone mold on Amazon. The last batch I made had grilled onions, cheese, bell peppers, and mushrooms. I spooned the vegetables and cheese into the mold and added the egg. It cooks in the oven in 15 minutes. I go ahead and make up the sandwiches, adding a slice of Canadian bacon (also a Costco buy) and put them in a little ziplocks and into the freezer. Then for breakfast, you just pop it in the microwave for about a minute and a half and you have a healthier breakfast sandwich than all the boxed breakfast sandwiches that are sold. It is cheaper too.
Spinach artichoke Parmesan dip
Bounty paper towels
Charmin toilet paper
I get my dog’s dental chews and the cats foods
Almond milk
Dave’s Killer Bread, the kind with all the seeds, is really good
The various salad ingredient bags
Goat cheese
Frozen blueberries
And, of course, the typical basics like eggs, sugar, peanut butter, and they have a delicious strawberry jelly
I have a couple pair of pants that I bought last year that are really comfortable
Kerrygold Irish butter. After trying this, I cannot use any other brand.

The better question is, what DON’T I buy from Costco, LOL. I’m a huge fan of most of the stuff in their bakery especially their breads. I most recently bought an orange cream cheesecake that is absolutely divine, it tastes just like a Creamsicle. So good! The rotisserie chicken is great for a quick meal, or like Lexica said, the packaged rotisserie breast meat is great for making chicken salad or even just chopping up to add to a Caesar salad kit (which they also sell and is a favorite) or I use it to make chicken fried rice.
We’ve been buying the Ultimate Everything chopped salad kits lately but they have other good ones too. They have a great selection of cheeses. We haven’t had anything we didn’t like from their prepared foods, we particularly like the tortellini pasta salad, the stuffed peppers, the ravioli lasagna and our kid looooves the chicken Alfredo and their prepared macaroni and cheese.
I pretty much go there every week and watch the sales and markdowns on their clothes. A lot of my favorite things have come from there, including the Fila French terry joggers that are a wardrobe staple for me in the wintertime and the Mondetta Bermuda shorts I’m wearing right now. When I find something I like, in my size, and especially if it’s on sale, I seriously buy like 4-5 and wear it all the time. I score so many clothing deals from there either in store or through the website when they have their buy so many, save an extra $10+ and then just have it shipped to the house.
Speaking of Costco online, my nephew works for Costco and he said that only about 7% of the members actually order stuff online through their website and that really surprised me. They have a lot of great online only deals, plus extended sizes, etc. for items on their website. I usually look for what I want in store (because instant gratification) but if there’s something I like but they don’t have the size or color I want, I just look online and order from there.
Any time you need anything electronic, look at Costco first because not only is that stuff very competitively priced but for a lot of it they extend the warranty for an extra year beyond what the manufacturer lists plus they have a free concierge phone service for helping you get it set up too.

Rotisserie chicken whenever I go. That chicken goes a long way, and I use the skin and bones to make chicken stock. I also just bought my first package of rotisserie chicken breast meat in the deli, because there weren’t any whole chickens available at that moment.
I also love the fresh shrimp cocktail in the deli. It’s a lot, but if there’s ever any leftover shrimp, I chop it up and add it to stir-fry or noodles.
I buy the Kirkland Pacific Bold k-cups when they go on sale. Good coffee (yes, yes, I know, as far as k-cups go) and a great deal. They’re on sale right now and I think I paid $29.99 (reg. $35.99?) for a box of 120 k-cups. If you aren’t good at mathing, that’s 25 cents per k-cup.
More things when they go on sale or even if they aren’t:
The Ghirardelli brownie mix. Best brownie mix on the market (although Trader Joe’s does give it a run for its money) and an excellent buy. Use two of the bags of mix for a 9x13 pan of brownies. One bag for 8x8.
Irish butter (KerryGold). Comes in a 4-pack and costs way less than at any grocery store. They also have their own brand of New Zealand butter now, which is lower priced but I bet it’s good. Haven’t tried it yet.
A great selection of regular and high-end cheeses.
Breakfast cereals. Chicken stock. Tuna. Ketchup and other condiments. Good prices on dairy and eggs.
Big bags of mixed candy for Easter and Halloween. Cookies, chips, and snacks when they go on sale. Tate’s chocolate chip cookies are on sale for $7.99 for the equivalent of three regular-size packages right now.
Name-brand batteries when they go on sale. Drugstore/personal care items on sale.
Three-packs of organic ground beef and organic boneless/skinless chicken breasts. Fresh meat isn’t cheap but it is top quality.
Their cakes are good and not terribly expensive. Tuxedo cake is dynamite, not too huge, and only costs around $20. Croissants (also in the bakery) are good, cheap, and stay fresh for several days.
Random housewares, office supplies, books, gifts … you just have to check it out and see what’s there and what’s on sale.
I buy kids’ gifts in the fall to donate to Toys for Tots at Christmas time.
Great buys on basic electronics.
A million, gazillion impulse purchases, most of which I love. If not, most items can be returned any time. For electronics, there’s a time limit.
I make money from the executive membership every year.
If you’re a new member, I recommend wandering the aisles to familiarize yourself with what they have. And read the sale flyer they send every month.

My grandson eats the frozen orange chicken once per week. You get 2 packages in the box.
They have excellent meat. I buy steaks and individually freeze them. I use them for stir fry or other recipes more than I grill a whole steak.
I buy most of my produce there. Even if I can't finish the package of baby spinach, it's only $3.99.

Kirkland toilet paper. Walk through the fresh meat department. They often put packages of meat for sale at four dollars and up per package (it doesn’t matter the size). We find the smallest size to get the best savings. We buy chicken breasts on sale then take the tenders out of the middle of the chicken breasts and bag them into freezer bags then into the freezer for another time. All fuel is purchased at Costco. We have the Costco Executive membership and always get more than our membership cost back in a rebate cheque in the New Year. We buy something for twenty dollars or less with it from Costco and take the rest back in cash. We use the Costco credit card at Costco and anywhere we can use the card. We pay it off every month. Groceries, car insurance, phone bills etc go on the card and we get a rebate at the end of the year. In Canada, we are signed up through Costco.ca to receive a weekly e-mail with their weekly specials. The fresh meat specials are not posted online. If we pesto and we don’t use it right away we freeze some in ice cube trays then pop into freezer bags. In Canada, our postage stamps are a better price at Costco.

I like the stuffed salmon. They come four in a pack; DH and I share one for dinner and freeze the rest. We also love the kale salad and often share one for lunch. As someone said above, the stuffed peppers are delicious and also freeze well. The quinoa salad also is great. They sell Rao’s tomato sauce packaged in a set of two jars and priced much less than grocery stores. And we love their Kirkland k-cups — breakfast variety and decaf.

Ruta Maya medium roast coffee beans - we use for cold brew. Sprouted pumpkin seeds - SO good on salads etc. Frozen sweet potato fries - best in the air fryer. Laughing Cow cheese spread - on sale a few times a year so I stock up then. Daisy light cottage cheese - so much cheaper. I transfer to 3 pint jars and vacuum seal them. Kirkland fragrance free laundry detergent - also goes on sale a lot. Eggs are currently cheaper there than most of our stores, both the 18 ct and the box of 5 dozen.

Eggs Kirkland brand TP Paper Towels I get the kibble and canned food for my pups The doggie dental chews I'll buy a gallon of milk when needed. My DH was going through it like water. He's backed down now, so 1/2 gal works better for us. Rotisserie chicken Plain Greek yogurt Always pick up a bottle of the purple topped Prosecco. It's wonderful for Aeperol Spritz and mimosas The Kirkland Irish butter. lucyg Lexica it tastes just like KG and is about $4.5 cheaper The seasonal seasoned almonds that did come out at Christmas a couple of years ago were purchased and frozen. I think they had them last year. Garlic and herb. Perfect for a small snack! The frozen berries mix- strawberry, blueberries and blackberries. Love them on my yogurt Lysol laundry sanitizer Kirkland laundry detergent when on sale. Raos 2 pack of sauce on sale. Usually $8.99 on sale. Great price Kirkland brand of Claritin or Zyrtec. I take one a day. Always grab gas there. I used to always get a churro in the food court and then they discontinued them. They do have a chicken bake that is pretty darn good to snack on if I am running errands and need sustenance. crazy4scraps I would order more online if they didn't seem to up price a lot of the items. I will look in-store at something and either need another size, color or "why didn't I buy that then" situation. When I look online some items are $10 more than in-store. AND it's not to cover shipping because I will sometimes be hit with shipping.

naby64, I just looked on Instacart and they don’t show a Kirkland Irish butter. They do show a butter from New Zealand that is around $5 cheaper. I wonder if the actual Costco store near me has the Kirkland Irish kind. I think I need to venture out to the store for my next shopping trip. I just struggle lugging heavy things these days.

BOY AM I WRONG!! It is from New Zealand. I just found a picture of it online. However, it still tastes like KG Irish butter.

AND it's not to cover shipping because I will sometimes be hit with shipping. I also try to get what I can at the warehouse but sometimes it sells out so fast and I don’t get back there in time even though I’m there almost every week. I know the online prices are higher, but usually the clothes have “free shipping” which is definitely part of it. They also have quite a few online only things and some of those are pretty competitively priced. I watch for the Buy More Save More events because then it kind of evens that out. Also if things are on clearance and I happen to get lucky with sizing. If I’m buying stuff for myself and DD, it’s pretty easy to find 5 or 10 things or whatever to get the extra amount off. For example, I bought four pairs of shorts that I liked after my store was sold out of my size and a two pack of 3/4 sleeve t-shirts in a bigger size than the store usually carries, total was $37.93 after taking an extra $20 off for buying five items. Shipping was free, so that makes each item $6.32. Like anything, you have to watch the prices in store, watch for stuff to get marked down and watch for the deals.

We went to Costco today as the gas is the best 0rice there. In Canada, you can on online and watch for their road shows (Limited time items in the store). We didn’t check first but they had a Gelato three pack road show for an excellent deal. Picked up children’s clothing for a Christmas gift. Picked up a charger for my new phone on sale for cheaper than the online price. Ask at the store or call and ask if you can upgrade your Costco membership to an Executive one during the year. I think you might be able to do that. You might also be able to buy the Executive Membership and if you don’t see at least sixty five dollars in rebates in the year go back to the basic membership. We bought a Fall Mom’s plant for $17.99 today. The small ones at the grocery stores are over 23 dollars.
