I thought it was today, but it was yesterday.
2 years since my divorce was granted and I can honestly say that I am grateful he is gone.
I've come a long way since the day I caught him cheating. I'm stronger, wiser, more confident, and happier.
Thank you for all the support and advice you all have given. I was prepared because of the Peas.

well that is certainly something to celebrate!! congrats to moving on and putting it behind you.
made me wonder what my divorce-aversary is and actually, it's TOMORROW. it's only been 1 year for me, although we technically separated in Dec 17, I moved out in Jul 2019 and our separation agreement was finally signed Dec of that year. took til last year to finalize as he started court proceedings, had to go thru that process in courts, but covid hit and then post-covid backup.
we actually get along *fairly* well finally (he decided earlier this year to let go of his anger after 6 years apart) but I wouldn't go back FOR ANYTHING. hope life continues to be positive!!!

Mine was 33 years ago sometime this month but I don't count that, I count packing up and moving to a new state the middle of June of the previous year. Except I frame it is when my life finally started after leaving that lying, cheating, abusive and verbally abusive POS. Sometimes, divorce is the only solution. Glad you are doing well.
