The information is fascinating--from female black doctors to a woman who posed as a male to be a soldier and was not found out for 2 years.

I read a book a few years ago -- maybe during Covid? --- that was about the Black Cowboys in Texas. (that was the name of the book as well). It was so eye opening. There is also a museum in Rosenberg but I haven't been there yet.
