DH has been keeping track of his blood pressure readings for the cardiologist. I donāt think the dr doubts him but his blood pressure after his treadmill stress test was 270/130 and the dr immediately prescribed another medication.

We have decided not to go to the concert. Jeremy is just too old and sore today to attend a 3 hour standing room only concert. He did agree to take me out to the place with the good "fish" tacos.
I appreciate everyone's support. I think I will enjoy relaxing at home this weekend.

I took a small turkey out of the freezer a few days ago. Dh was going to cook it on the barbecue today but it started raining. Instead, it is roasting unstuffed in the oven. We will have fresh potatoes from dsās garden, beans from our garden with it then peaches from the farmers market for dessert.

Tonight I may be eating alone. I am having a Keg burger ( leannec and I love that restaurant). There will be vegetables and a salad. I am hooked on the new balsamic vinegar. Itās so delicious I need salad everyday now. My dad was sick last night and at the hospital and they have him in for a gastroscopy on Monday. Our healthcare system does work quickly when needed. All that said I am down one clothing size now. I am very happy! |

@leanneā¦ Iāve watched the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleading show and loved it!!! My favorite is the THUNDER routine!!! Itās crazy that those girls hardly get paid anything for all the hard work and effort they put in!
I also like realty shows. What ever one with the Oppenheim group is my favorite. I watched the first season of the one with Kyle Richardās husband and daughters but havenāt watched the second season because of his or her cheating rumors and he kind of sleeved me out when he was on Dancing with the Stars!

Hi all, donāt know if anyone really sees these late posts- since Iām PST. Just finished dinner. We had meatloaf, roasted potatoes, and cheesy cauliflower. This weekend I was supposed to go camping in Canada with my girls but since itās a long drive and there is a burn ban we decided to cancel. Itās a lot of effort and long drive for no campfire which is our favorite part. Because of that, I have a four day weekend with no plans and itās been awesome so far!!  Today I bought some Christmas stuff (yep) including a new 12ft tree since we have high ceilings in the new place. Our weather is so weird this summer it feels like fall and time to buy Christmas stuff. Does not feel like the middle of August. |
