What about a cross body bag, like the water bottle bags? It has a pocket you can put the radio in and won't be in the way. Sort of like this.

I thought about that, but I think it would muffle the output noise. I want to be able to hear what is being said clearly. They are kind of hard to hear on even when they are out depending on which person is speaking.

I keep seeing crossbody phone straps on TikTok shop that teachers are adding walkie-talkies to. I like the idea, but I need the extra pockets of my tiny purse for all the other stuff.

I work in a school office and I clip it to my back pocket.
The walkies are really useful when we have classroom issues and the teacher can’t get to their phone - they just say into their walkie “Level 1 (or 2 or 3) in Room (whatever.)” And one of the trained responders can just walkie back “on my way”.
