It has a lovely pool
The pantry is ...very very stocked
And who wants to clean 11 bathrooms? I'm not thrilled we have four, lol

I have never heard of this person. Does she have like a hundred kids? Is that why she has all that food and extra washers and dryers? Or is this some Mormon prepping?
The inside is incredibly boring but the outside is nice as far as the grounds and pool and stuff.

I don’t know who she is either, but my guess is the large pantry stock is because she is Mormon. I have had a few Mormon friends, not with that size home or family, of course, but they both had super well stocked and organized supplies in their garages. One of them told me they were encouraged to keep enough food to feed their family for a year, I think it was. She had a system to rotate her stuff so that it was constantly being used and refilled for the most part. I was envious of her organization skills.

It's just...charmless. Huge but so very boring. And badly decorated--certainly Jordan didn't spend anything on hiring a decorator or interior designer. Yugg. The word that really comes to mind is Ostentatious. They have like 8 kids. That's a lot. But that's also WAY more couches and more chairs and tables than even a family of that many needs. What a waste of space. Gorgeous yard and pool though! Could throw some amazing parties.

She used to be a big name back in the early mid 2000s with her frugal tips. She has 8 or 9 kids (can't remember) and yes is Mormon.
She throws huge parties that cost a lot of money and likes to flaunt her money.
She has kind of done what other divorced Mormon moms have done lately and get a lot of work done and kind of left the religion.

Call me judgemental, but that house has NEVER been that clean since they moved in. There has been a loooooot more color in the home in toys and clothes everywhere! :-)

It's not for me by any stretch of the imagination. It's basically the dead opposite of everything I like in a house.
The only things I liked to any degree were the 2 smallest spaces---the little bench with the fake old-fashioned phone, and the inglenook. And even in those spaces there were design elements I still disliked.
Even the landscape design wasn't for me.

I hate packing and moving so much that I'd sell that prepper pantry stuff with the house.

I think the home is lovely and the views/grounds are spectacular! I have heard her name, I think on Youtube. So I have the general idea of who she is. Now that said, no way could I afford it so if someone wants to buy it and gift it to me that's great. It will take me about 5 years to get it furnished the way it should be. How many kitchens does one need? I can tell you the first thing I would do is paint the main kitchen cabinets an emerald green. That is the next project in my house. Then start adding color to the rest of the house. In a nice tasteful way. What is it with lucite these days? The bar stools? Who knows if they are staged or the homeowners. I just don't like it. I could spend plenty of time outside with the puppers in that yard. And get a couple more. They could have their own bedrooms turned kennels!

I am one that never heard of her either. That is one of the largest and most extravagant homes I've seen. The home doesn't seem like its owned by the "queen of cheap" or a frugal person. I thought she might be LDS since her food supply looks like a well-stocked grocery store. I wondered about the double washers and dryers, but I guess with that many in the family, you kind of need it. It's a beautiful home. I suppose if you can afford a $6 million home, you could afford to hire house keepers and lawn maintenance staff as well. Wow!

Holy shit balls.... I gasped out loud at that pantry...
it's a beautiful house, but very bland in decorating.
I don't know who she is. Don't really care either.
If she is the queen of frugal, this house doesn't show it. I would have never guessed that.

..So much black and white in a home! Photo #42= more shoes and purses than I can imagine, not to mention they are stiletto heels. #51 and 42 = a small rural grocery store doesn't have this much on their shelves!
Much to much house for me. I'm not a fan of the landscaping.
It feels like everything is for show.

Ok fixed my link. And here was the 2020 thread some of you were remembering how she went to her cabin with newborn twins with no medical care nearby. And she needed said medical care and it was w/in the first few weeks of Covid when everything was a hellscape. HERE

She's got a house that big, selling it for millions. She has a mini grocery store in her pantry.
A couple-few years ago....she posted her frugal ways >> about only giving her kids 10-12 pieces of cereal each for breakfast....because she needs to be frugal and not waste food.
WTF?

Yeah, I don't watch her or any others like her, but I do see enough video shorts to know that when it comes to content creators, things don't need to make sense. They just need to generate views & comments. And I imagine that insisting upon only feeding your kid 10 pieces of cereal at a time will bring on a whole slew of comments.

Eh. I wouldn't want to live there, though I do love the grounds and pool. What bothers me the most is all the different flooring.

I don't like it. Usually I can see beyond personal taste, but this house doesn't even have good bones. I expected there to be sister wives with all that space.

That is hideous. I do like the yard. And the wooden built in bed. I've always wanted one of those after seeing them in a house my parents looked at (but didn't buy) when I was about eight.

I like to consider myself a talented amateur. I think I have good style, and enjoy decorating my house.
But once you hit a certain price point, you need a professional. The quality and scale of the furniture and decor she’s chosen just does not work with a house that large and high end.
And if you can’t afford a designer, you can’t afford that house.
