I keep seeing all these ads for Laura Geller makeup and I’m wondering if anyone here has purchased and used it. Is it as easy as they say it is?? I’m getting older and don’t really wear much makeup, no foundation at all so I’m wondering how good it is.

I am someone who hasn't warn makeup since I was in my 20s - I'm now 45. I started wearing it again this year after randomly throwing it into an Amazon cart earlier this year. I really like it! I have a very red face (not rosacea, but thin skin) and large pores. I really like the "Baked Balance-n-Brighten Color Correcting Powder Foundation" and the coverage it provides. I don't use any other makeup (other than an eyebrow pencil). I use a mix of two different shades to get the tone needed for my skin.
ETA: I haven't seen any of the ads so not sure what they are saying about it, but I think it's easy.

I'm in my mid-fifties, and I committed to wearing sunscreen daily this year, and I was having trouble being shiny and greasy all the time - I was really struggling keeping up my sunscreen habit. I added the Laura Gellar Baked Balance and Brighten to my routine, and I really like the results. I just apply my sunscreen, let it dry down for a few minutes, then apply the Laura Gellar over that. No shine all day and it's easy and comfortable.

I bought it during Prime Days after seeing all the ads. I felt it gave zero coverage, like none at all. I returned it.

I bought it. Went all in. Zero coverage. And it looked orange on me. Every once in awhile I pull it out and try again but nope. Hate it.

I was gifted the foundation (baked, brighten whatever it's called) that's suppose to 'go on like a powder, feel like a cream' but it's doesn't for me. Too powdery and flat looking. I need a slightly dewy finish and this just reminds me of old lady make up.

I need a slightly dewy finish and this just reminds me of old lady make up. I found the same. I bought their primer too so it should have worked well together. I felt it went cakey and didn't feel nice on my skin at all.

I think I’ve answered this before.
I like the Baked Balance-n-Brighten Color Correcting Powder Foundation. Yes, it does go on light. That’s one of the reasons I like it. I dislike heavy foundations.. it can be layered for more coverage. I recommend a Foundation Makeup Brush - a Flat Top Kabuki Hexagon is my favorite.
I do use a primer. (L'Oreal Paris Age Perfect Face Blurring Primer). I have 2 of the Baked Blush-n-Brighten Marbleized Blushes.the colors work will well for me. As with the powder foundation, I do like the lighter coverage. It’s just a personal preference.
I also have purchased her lipstick. (Italian Marble Sheer Lipstick). Again, I don’t like heavy makeup. I absolutely love the lipstick so much, that I’ve thrown out everything else and it’s the only kind I use. I’ve purchased several of the colors multiple times.

I bought the palette bc i needed something easy to carry around for the gym. I don't love the eye shadows but I do really like the bronzer. Not a fan of the eyeliner either - it feels dry. So disappointed bc I really wanted an all-in-1 palette the easily fits in my gym bag. If you're looking for a powder foundation with good coverage, I'd recommend the it cosmetics one (Celebration foundation).

I got a set for my birthday - it is ok. The foundation is really dark - I would recommend going to two shade lighter than what you think you would be.

I'm mid fifties and don't wear a lot of makeup these days as I WFH daily. I got one of the sets off Tik Tok shop when they had a special, with the baked foundation, contour, blush, highlight and 3 eyeshadows. (I also use some elf primer before the foundation.) I like that it is a light coverage, it's been great for summer.
I watched videos of how people apply the make-up and I felt like my new makeup technique was LESS old lady than my usual routine. LOL

I have the foundation and blush and like it. I got some baked eyeshadow from her site directly. When I tried to return it, I got a refund and was told to keep it. I know that’s not the point of this thread but they do have excellent customer service.

Laura Gellar was the perfect option for me! I love it! About two years ago I felt like my skin was maturing (some fine lines and increased dryness) and needed to switch things up. I tried several brands but they all settled into my fine lines and pores. LG did not. I have good skin and don't need a lot of coverage so I'm sure that plays into my success with the brand. I am also hyper vigilant about moisturizing and I think that makes a bid difference in the appearance of any foundation.
I have tried the concealer and like it, blush and didn't care for it and a couple eye shadow palettes and didn't care for those. For me, the products I like, I *really, really* like. The ones I don't just don't do anything for me.

I bought the original balance and brighten 20 years ago and it was amazing. It only came in one colour but it was perfect for me. Then she changed it so there was a colour choice and none of them suit me.The colour swirls are really random, so if you are buying online you are really in a lottery as to the colour you get. It's also much more powdery that it used to be and it looks awful on me- I don't think it's older skin,as my skin hasn't actually changed much in 20 years except it's better hydrated these days. My daughter likes the balance and glow but I found it glittery. She's now moved over to Hourglass diffused light however.

I'm 59 and am loving it! Coverage is perfect for me as I hate "feeling" like I'm wearing make up. I am using the primer, small amount of concealer, the baked foundation, contour & blush. Then I set with the matte translucent and then a spritz of the spackle mist. I don't do eyeshadow but do like the eyeliner and mascara.

I thought it was horrible. I used a primer. It doesn't cover and it is cakey. It does not blend in at all. Sorry I bought it.

Thank you everyone for these reviews. I see the ads all the time but felt like it couldn't possibly cover the way they show.

I love it. It does cover the things I want covered, and if it doesn’t, I use concealer underneath it.
