This is one of those little technology annoyances that make me crazy until I have the answer. We have had a landline in our house forever, which we never use anymore since we all have cell phones. One of those things we just never canceled. Dh has always used his work-provided cell phone. But he retired recently and had to get his own phone. He decided that he wanted to use the landline number, so when we went to get the new phone they were able to cancel the number as a landline and transfer it to his cell phone. And now when dd calls me the screen lights up with her name and dh's photo!  We thought it was because maybe I had the landline number listed as a secondary contact number for dd. I went in to contacts and checked but nope, I have only her cell number listed. While I was in there I changed her email to her new one, thinking that maybe the landline number was tied to that email somehow. But that didn't work either. I also checked dh's contact information just to be sure than some phone gremlin didn't put dd's number under his name, but the only number there is our old landline number which is now his new cell number. Does anyone have any idea how to fix this? If no one here knows I'll eventually stop into the Apple store and ask them. Like I said, not a critical problem but just one of those random mysteries.  |

Did you all ever share iCloud email accounts? Check your iCloud account.

When all else fails, shut your iphone off for 15 minutes and turn it back on. lol That seems to fix a lot of problems.
Maybe there was a glitch updating your family info and maybe it just needs a reboot.

When you go to your contacts for that phone number, whose picture shows up. You can change it there I believe.

Is your DD on your phone plan? I wonder if they reset her 'caller ID name' to your husbands (if your daughters phone account originally was in his name)?

When you go to your contacts for that phone number, whose picture shows up. You can change it there I believe. My dh's photo and info comes up when I search on that phone number. Dd's isn't associated with it at all, except in the mind of my phone.  |

That often is the answer when these gadgets and appliances get ideas like this... Turn them off, then back on. lol. |

Have you looked under your DDs contact to see what photo and poster are set for that number? The poster is what iphone calls the pic that shows (whole screen) when that person calls you. I just discovered yesterday how to change that. A recent update made it blank, but we can now choose which photo to use for the screen poster. Here are instructions for it |
